The best bit from Night Court was when the floor gave way and woman came down desk and all into the courtroom. She was startled and everyone (staff)said hello. They were surprised that they hadn't met before. She answered "I was warned about you."
When he was working on creating it Reinhold Weege spent several nights sitting in the gallery at Manhattan night court. From what I understand the only unrealistic part is all the time they waste with their personal issues.
OMG that's pretty awesome I used to watch this show religiously all the time growing up tomorrow I got to go back to work so I won't be able to watch it anymore TV but maybe I can still keep watching it on here
Richard moll was ironic in his role on night court. A tough exterior but a soft heart. He with the cast that passed on, who knows. Maybe he's that bailiff there.
I remember him as salmoneus on Hercules with Kevin Sorbo I would say about 3 4 years after that and he was also in Universal Soldiers with Jean Claude Van Damme
@Gabe Stein I'm a fan too. Night Court could go from silly to serious to get you thinking, in a heart beat. Which made it such a great show to watch. I was getting ready to respond, "not stupid" also, but then, I was given to thought that folks that I grew up with, would say someone or something was "stupid". It wasn't meant to be disrespectful but more in acknowledging unbridled, silly behavior of the individual or group spoken about, as opposed to intellectual deficiency or behavior. Just my thoughts. You have a great day:).
i didn't even know Robert Trebor was on night court as a guest appearance this before he was a kind of regular appearance on both Hercules and xena TV show. and i used to watch reruns of night court back in the early 90's
You wouldn't happen to have the episode, or at least the clip from the episode, where the lady was arrested for stealing cat food, which she stole to eat, do you?
Here you go. The cat food-stealing lady is actress Eda Reiss Merin. The same year this episode aired, she could also be glimpsed very briefly in Ghostbusters as "Mrs. Blum", a neighbor of Louis Tully's, who originally had dialogue scenes but in the final cut just sees the Terror Dog and goes back into her apartment. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U9EEV3cNKtY.html
Rest In Peace, Richard Moll (1943-2023). We will always love and remember you as one of the best comedian and iconic actor of "Night Court" forever ❤😢🕊️

There is a plot hole in this episode. Magazines are sold on consignment, it doesn't matter if the retailer over orders as they only pay for the inventory that is sold.
Loved it then, watch it now on MeTv.. Will say, though, two of my least favorite characters were Margaret, and Tony (who I think most viewers will agree..didn't really fit). When they ended her role, I was happy.
