I always get worried when this guy uploads a Russian, Chinese, North Korean or Taiwanese song nowadays thinking that something major has happened in the world
Contrary to popular belief, this song wasn't composed during the Second Sino-Japanese War, it was actually made in the 1960's nonetheless the context of the song still fits the past event.
Apparently this song along with 41 others were composed from 1962-1963 by MoD's Military Song Composition Group and the music department of the Political Cadre School
it definitely feels a bit more modern, somewhat japanesed influenced. has a certain 1960s feel for some reason. strangley feels like almost like something out the 1980s.
I lived in Taiwan for a period of maybe 5 some years (Specifically Taichung if youre wondering), and it was pretty nice. Around all of the apartment blocks (i lived in an apartment), there was plenty of shops. Wasn’t really street vendor stuff, more outdoor restaurants that just so happened to be incorporated into the outside sidewalk areas of apartments. If you’re thinking about going to Taiwan, I’d say give it a try! 🇺🇸🤝🇹🇼
you do realize social credit was credit like you getting a credit card just run by the gov instead right? and that it literally is not in use? also China recognizes Taiwan as a part of China, the US government also acknowledges this, China views them as an autonomous zone and they're happy to let Taiwan stay that way until it's at a point where economically not reuinifying is worse, instead of a war that would weaken both but ultimately be won by China. I reccomend actually researching things instead of hearing about it once and running with everything that they said.@@breadoffender-nv1kt
As a Taiwanese, I'm grateful you translated this song. Although it was related to political stuff a few years ago, it is still one of the best ROC military songs. I wish one day you would translate "Military Anthem of Republic of China Air Force"(中華民國空軍軍歌). that's my favorite military song.
The instruments are definitely not real, which is weird considering that the vocals are doing a very good job. The MIDI instruments take away a lot, real instrumentation would make it epic
@@fkboyStalinwhen China civil almost Came to the end, Republic of China retreat into Taiwan,An Country leaves mainland and retreat into somewhere isn't becoming Invader's Country bruh.
We did not forget about Hong Kong in Ukraine, and I do hope you become free after the world settles again after 15-30 years, though it would be a difficult time of serious local wars like ours, Israeli, most likely coming Korean and Taiwanese, but we'll get there. You absolutely deserve for your city to shine again. 🏴🇺🇦
@@JimmyM1975There’s some really good songs from both. Ode to the Republic and Songua River are both really good, but so is Nanniwan and We March on the Great Road. Just gotta find the ones that you don’t hear a ton.
Greetings to Taiwanese friends from Ukraine. The occupation will end, and China will be what it should have been, a democratic republic. Glory to the Republic of China 🇺🇦 ❤ 🇼🇸
1950 October 1 is important because the 3rd Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army advanced across the 38th Parallel for the first time since the begining of the Korean War. A year before, a country had formed on Beijing, bt it doesn't matter.
I love Taiwan, love from Guangdong, I just want to be a Chinese, we are all Chinese, no, not the nationality, but the ethnic group, we are Huaren, screw politics, Chinese unite! Hope we can one day be peaceful to each other, I can't do much, I'm not a politician, but I hope we can be friends, we are all Huaren, we're supposed to be together, not enemies...🇨🇳❤️🇹🇼
@@danyelee You're literally standing against peace, I want to be friends with Taiwan, and here you're willing to see more tension, AND YOU AREN'T LIVING IN EITHER CHINA OR TAIWAN

I love China, I also love Taiwan at the same time, but the thing I love the most? A peaceful place for us Sino people to live in. I hope we can put politics aside, and help each other, develop together! Please help me spread this message, and let everyone knows, the missing piece of puzzle in China is the peace 🇨🇳❤️🇹🇼
@@Darkify_it's still true tho, social credits is a real thing in China and when you do smth not aligned with the CPC's interest, you lost it and basically your life became worse
I noticed that you stopped putting the flag of Taiwan on the entire Mainland China + Taiwan. Only Taiwan. I am happy to see that you are accepting that Taiwanese don't want to reunify with China anymore.
@@ElonMuskrat-my8jy An island populated by the only Chinese who can choose their leaders through free elections, Taiwan is de facto an independent nation from China and should be called whatever its citizens want
