Its so frustrating to see the way superman is being treated in this story. He shouldn't be able to turn into a vampire nor should've batman literally left superman for free to the vampires.

Wait that honestly doesn’t make any sense. It’s different compared to with Hal because he had a great explanation on why he can still go into the sunlight-he has light based powers basically that can form a protection like construct or whatever around his body-so when his body is surrounded by that green light it doesn’t look at all suspicious cause…well his body has that green glow on him at all times so it being able to protect him isn’t too far fetched, but Superman’s powers are literally powered by the sun….so if he’s somehow miraculously turned into a vampire….he shouldn’t be able to use his powers anymore…Kryptonian should be able to use their powers if they get turned. So they could’ve used hypnosis then turned a psychic user and used them to mind control Superman

@@shanehenson315 Has Been Paying ATTENTION. Starfire's Blood Enables The Vampires to Day Walk and be Immune to Their Other Weaknesses. Farther, Technically A Kryptonian can Use Any Color Solar Radiation as Well as Energy/Radiation to gain Power. Including Red even though usually Red Completely Drains Them. I'm Pretty Sure They could Reverse Engineer Kal's Psychology to Adapt to it. Either That or He's Just Relying on Pure Vampire Abilities which isn't Far Fetched. As to How He Turned, My Man took a Face Full of Green Kryptonite, and was in an Explosion. Pretty Sure it'd be easy to Turn Him. Vampire Venom isn't Like Most Diseases/Venoms.

@@sebastiancalvey1226you are right about everything except the solar radiation the only reason superman's powers work is because he absorbs the energy of new suns he cant just use forms of energy or radiation they need to come from new suns

The kryptonite Batman sprayed on Superman weakened him to become a mere mortal(susceptible to bites) and Batman could NOT trust anyone

@@nataliawashington872no, he should still be able to use his powers, the sun energizes him. He should still have sunlight in him but he will one day lose them

I like that the vampires in the story do everything that a vicious blood sucking undead creature would do! Unfortunately I’m at upset Nightwing of all people destroyed Batman and turned the bat family into vamps or killed them! Great story and can’t wait for the rest of it to be told!

I kinda liked it bc knightwing knew if he only turned Batman he wouldn’t be able to fully trust him. now slade is trying to bring him back and once Batman is back it’s kinda gg’s

I am just catching up however , there seem to be some big holes in this vampire story. Superman or Firestorm should not be able to be turned into vampires . Every cell in superman body absorbs 1096 joules of uv radiation per second & stores it . That same uv radiation is lethal to vampires. Green lantern ring should have left Hal after he die. Green Lanterns heart are monitored.

DC is killing it right now with their elseworlds vs Vampires, DCeased, and Dark Knights of Steel (speaking of which, when is that continuing?) I guess with elseworlds they don't have to care about maintaining the status quo so they have complete freedom to do cool stuff. Hope Kara makes it to the sun by the end

I love it!!! DCeased is mostly about survival against a now sentient infection, yet DC vs Vampires is a war, factions with each their own characters and such, but also the emotional stakes are on the line when fighting, not saying that DCeased doesn't have emotional stakes (just go and see Batman's infection and last words) but rn is more of conquering rather than that. Allso, I just LOVE that Jayna is back after the first issue. P.S. On one side we have Superman on the good side while on the other is Supergirl XD

Vamps are always a winner! Zombies are alright but, really, you need the whole "zombie horde" to be a real threat, and even then it's kinda "one-note" But just I.M.O.

I like this series it’s a lot of fun and you can tell DC is trying new things with monsters, but I don’t like how Nightwing is the villain I think it would have been more interesting if the whole Batfam was turned into vampires and the JL has to defeat them, Nightwing as the villain just seems random or maybe it’s just I wanna see Jason as a vampire

or simply put her under a sun lamp or tanning bed. Plenty of ways to artificially generate sunlight. Then you can use it against the vampires too, just like in the first Blade movie.
