Trying to sue them civilly would be retarded because the cost would absolutely exceed the value of the gift. If you want to press charges, you'd be a foreigner trying to convince the government to prosecute a Japanese company because they didn't give your hand-made plushie to one of their employees, good luck with that. Also Nijisanji could just say what Hololive has already said, that they're afraid that physical gifts might have an Airtag or some other tracking device hidden inside the gift. As shitty as it is that they kept accepting gifts without ever telling the public, or even their own talents, that they wouldn't be receiving anything other than fan letters, there's no legal recourse to be had here.

Niji Sanji has stated that it will no longer accept gifts from fans as of March 31, 2020. (Only fan letters will be accepted). Therefore, even if LIVER does not receive the gift, it will be recognized as something that the fan did not follow the terms and conditions and sent without permission. Even if they win the lawsuit, they will lose more than the gifts due to legal fees. The likelihood of winning the case is quite low.

Since the office prohibits the receipt of gifts, they are basically rejected or discarded. The Niji site has a small paragraph that says they are not accepting gifts, but they screwed up AGAIN by not informing the EN talent/fans about that, cause there's no way that a fan would know to look for that paragraph before they send the gift. So it ends up being another case of incompetence for Niji.

Seems like the incompetence stems directly from the malice. Example: The explicit hiring practice of disqualifying people from the manager positions if they have the audacity to be old enough to have a fully developed brain. And that isn't even hyperbole. The higher-ups' deliberate attempt to snatch up desperate minimum-wage workers who don't have the experience to understand how badly they're being treated puts the livers in the position of having ignorant, overworked, and underpaid managers trying to solve their problems with all the careful finesse of a jackhammer and the instructions of a random leftover sticky note. Malice at the top, incompetence in the ranks, misery for all involved...except the ones raking in the cash. When someone has already shown that they have no interest in the proper care of their employees, no other cut corners or corporate pickpocketing should ever surprise you. It should be the expectation, that's just waiting for proof before it becomes certainty.

Look at the Selen situation, there is definitely malice behind a lot of it. Some of it is for sure incompetence, not least of all because despite being a billion dollar company, they're unbelievably greedy, and cheap, hence the minimum wage managers, and paying their livers the bare minimum, but screwing over Selen, and others like they did? Whenever JP collapses

Nijisanji is still a big player in Japan. The EN branch might be in large trouble, but the main branch is still doing well. They will not collapse anytime soon.

At best it will be a grinding but still fast collapse, as the structure takes in more and more damage until the half assed, overpriced reinforcements they purchased fail to support as the damage just gets too much for Investors to trust them as a profitable Business. At worst, It will take something to crack the ENTIRE JAPANESE economy to a scale where anything not on the Essential industries (Food, LE, Medical, Infrastructure, Internet) as a key part of them crash so hard there's little choice for the survivors but adapt to scarcity conditions. Or the collapse will be slow, very slow. Holo and the other major JP Vtuber corpo seize market share everywhere, dominating the Industry, while Niji whithers

Best Hope is that if the prosprects for further growth past JP need a succesful EN or Global branch, Niji will have zero choice BUT do something to keep an EN branch with which to try growing their market. If they fail, or the other JP corpos start seizing a lot more of the EN/Global market, Niji is done if they can't keep profits on par with the rising growth of their rivals

Best case is Nijisanji will do a major reform. The second best scenario is they will sell the EN branch, or the EN branch will split into a new company. Wishing for Nijisanji to fail is like wishing McDonalds would go bankrupt because of the boycott. Very unlikely.

People shutting their eyes on massive scandals is disgusting. Why don’t you keep buying that burgers and leave then? Just ignore it as you did to variety of disturbing cases? I watched Luxeum almost at its debut and got into other NiJi waves because of them, it hurts to see what my oshis are doing rn, but till situation gets clear, I cannnot follow them anymore.
