Love the shoe comparisons, very in depth Cole👍🏼 always been more of a Nike guy myself, recently picked up some Vaporflys, black the same colour you got today!
I disagree. The Takumis are better looking than the Streakflys especially in the Indigo blue with the orange stripes and the lightsrike pro foam is super peppy they explode off the pavement. The Adios Adizero Pro 2’s are equal or superior to the Vaporflys as well. Adidas are magnificently engineered racing shoes.
you are entitled to your opinion buddy. I haven't tried the Pro 2's so can't comment but all of my friends who have had both prefer the Vapours but still say they're a good shoe.
Takumi is brilliant, fast for 5k,10k,plenty of pop, stable and fits perfectly and snugs the foot,soft and most importantly fun to run in, downside is price but it will last miles longer than the streakfly
Great video!! Support from Hong Kong!! My avg pace is 5:00 for 5k run and I’m more of a midfoot striker. I never owned any carbon plated racing shoes and my current shoes are the hoka clifton 8. Would like to get myself a pair of faster shoes. May I know which one u recommend? Streakfly, Takumi sen 8, vaporfly or adios pro 2? Or any others? Hmm I don’t really prefer a very stiff landing and I normally do 5 to max 8k run. Thank you so much for the help :)
Vaporfly’s are a safe bet but my dad loves his adios pro 2’s too! I would avoid the Takumi’s or the Streakfly’s cos there is better shoes out there! If you get on well with hoka maybe it’s worth trying the Carbon X2!
If you like stiff compliant cushioning absolutely go with the Takumis or Adios Pro 2’s. Both are light and very fast. PS. I WOULD NOT HESITATE FOR A MINUTE TO RUN A MARATHON IN THE TAKUMI 8’s.
