Debating between this and endorphin speeds for my track season training, I used the zoom fly 3s over the summer and loved them so I might get the 4s but I don’t know if it’s good to be training on carbon plays that much. Currently, I’m using the hoka Mach 4s and never used the endorphins before. But great review!

Thank you! Endorphin speeds are a very popular choice even on track. They are less aggressive since it has a plastic nylon plate so easier on your feet. It’s ok to use them for speed workouts. I almost used them for my daily runner but now I might rotate it will this.

What I found is when you take a little break from carbon plated shoes you work harder and then appreciate returning to them so don’t run every run with them. Alternate shoes often 😬

Just tested few weeks ago, pity that they are on the heavy side... Vertical oscillation ratio and Ground contact time in average are quite good!

I just can't see buying this over the Saucony Endorphin Speed, especially since the V1 is on sale. Great video though!

They’re both made for marathon training and I haven’t personally tried the 10 yet but I love my zf4. Like the new changes they made and is a great shoe for training, speed and any tempo work. The 10 might be a better everyday show though

On Nike website, i think it said the plate on Zoom Fly 4 is less stiff than Zoom Fly 3. Maybe that’s why it felt softer? It might be like Pebax foam with nylon plate felt softer on Endorphin Speed than endorphin Pro.

Nervous because have success with zf3 from 10k to half. but now with 200 miles want another to try for next marathon after the bad vaporfly experience. Tried training in the soft endorphin speeds but they didn't like my insoles. now that zf4 is softer, should I still get them or find a zf3?

Hey Paul if zf3 worked for you I would get that. It’s cheaper and tried and tested. I saw some in the outlets too since Nike stopped selling them online. The zf4 is little more comfortable in my opinion but little heavier and I think it’s more flexible and softer with more padding.

This is a crowded area for the price point . The year is almost done and new shoes for first quarter of next year ........... i might wait for them first.

Yeah this is a pretty late release from Nike. Honestly any of the previous versions would be fine or endorphin speed 1 for a cheaper price

How is the weight? It seems really heavy compared to other shoes. I didn’t like the zoom fly 3 at all. I noticed a difference in endorphin speed 2 and 1. I like the 1 better. I felt like it didn’t have bounce in the 2nd version.

It’s about 9.5 ounces for size 9 so fairly heavy compared to the speed 1. However for some reason when you put it on it doesn’t feel that bad. I kind of like it

That was a good looking shoe until Nike put that orange crap on the side and ruined the looks I don't know why they do that they just got to do something different just to make it different

thanks for the feedback Adam. I was thinking i'm going too fast sometimes. I try to get all the info out without too much other stuff and just focus on the shoes
