English subtitles would be a big plus to get the full context, but the real crime is that these wonderful performers are not named/credited, the Oiran in particular. So refined! And something about her looks so familiar... Btw, I have seen another vid of this same show with a different Oiran, and this lady is MUCH better
cause I dont know their names. They are from the nikko edomura park. If you have the chance to go one day, you can see much more shows (ninja fight, oiran walk...)
Yujyos are very poor. They're human trafficking in from Edo period , Meiji , Taisho , to Showa's period. modern yujyos is all recruiting. I was yujyo at Japan😄😄😄😄
I have watched quite a few video clips of Oirans, but this lady is my favourite. Does anyone know her name (personal or stage name)? I have a close up of her on my computer desktop.
nikko edomura is a kind of theme park near Tokyo. They display oiran shows, ninja battle shows, and all the studio looks like a ninja village (you can also rent a ninja or oiran cosplay there). If you're more into samurai, then you can also go to kyoto, where the Toei Kyoto Studio Park is (it's a theme park that is also used as a movie set for japanese films). This one looks like an old japanese village, where you can see samurais walking by, samurai battle shows and more.
I Love this! US meets Japan! Who is the wonderful lady? An Oiran! Lucky guy! (He better hand over the house, the car, the college funds for the kids, etc. The Oirans' are worth every penny!)
@@ultron374 I know that Geisha survived because they were never prostitutes. Their artform lasted but change of culture, less wealthy men to entertain they have opened doors to tourists. Sadly their numbers have gone down C ok vid has closed many more teahouses.
