I won't be winning any photography competitions with this footage, but just thought I'd share this first test of my new Nikon P1000 bridge camera. This is what a 125x optical zoom can do.
there would be no point cause above ground isnt the main Area 51 facility its actually underground where they keep the more classified stuff, Above ground is just the airplane hangers and planes
Thers alot lot like this these days ! Like the nikon a900 and sony a5100 ! Check this beautiful one of sony !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0eSEGMdxlF8.html 😃
The Hovering Scotsman hey man, there’s a company on Facebook using your videos claiming it’s from their product. I hope you got some compensation. facebook.com/112564673830363/posts/136678484752315/?vh=e&d=n
Very interesting. Like every terrestrial telescope, image quality at the extremes is mostly limited by the seeing conditions (air at different temperatures in front of the lens).
@@d.s1014 the camera stops zooming in for a split second when it reaches its maximum optical zoom, and goes until digital, the majority of the zooming process is optical. But in a couple mountainous clips here, there was a decent amount of atmospheric interference. I actually pre ordered this camera.
Thank you thank you thank you and thank you for your video its great. Always wanted someone to just to put the zoom range in feet and inches (miles in this case) so it makes it easier to see what the camera can do and not all this 25-600mm which makes no sense to me yet!
Great great video..! I have 2 questions, 1) how did you reduce the camera shake when using the full zoom. 2) Is Nicon going to upgrade P1000 and launch a latest version?
What a wonderful piece of engineering! The PQ is not going to win any award but just imagine the pricey equipment one would have to lug in order to improve the PQ to 35mm level.
Incredible zoom. My camera has 40X, but the Nikon makes mine look like a toy. Love to try taking photos of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Venus. Maybe you could try making a video of that next?
How did you do the audio of them talking from so far away? Did you add it to the video later when editing it? Or, did you have an external mic attached? What kind?
i have a similar camera but it really is what it says it is , a " bridge camera " between a compact and a DSLR. Great zoom for sure but not must manual control and very limited menu . I keep mine on standby beside my DSLR in camera backpack .
I have canon sx70 (super zoon). Do you think there is a big difference in between these two cameras? Which one is better for the quality pic while in fully zoomed in.
I just paid $60 for a used telescope that has this range of zoom. But it's not easy or quick to use, and taking pictures through the viewfinder is very difficult.
Hello I'm thinking to buy this camera never had one before... is that zoom without something extra? Like another scope or i don't know..?(sorry for my English)
Sorry fella😔 I don't think he knows that you just asked 2 questions, I was going to ask the same till I found yours😞 I hope that one day we will find the answers.
Love it matey, great work! Seagulls always seem to be willing models for P1000 videos and photos :D Loved all the people doing jumping Jacks for photos :P
Thanks Mathew, its the Manfrotto 290 Light with Video Fluid Head, its a good compromise between sturdiness/lightweight and cost, I also use the ML-L7 remote control, this eliminates shaking from pressing buttons on the camera itself.
I have a Canon Rebel T7i camera, I can not take nice pictures with her the photos of the phone is better, so I want to take distant photos and her lens is the kit, 18 x 55mm. I was researching value of lens 70 x 300mm with stabilizer and the price is high, I was told the Nikon Coolpix P1000 because I am not even an amateur is for my hobby wonder is worth staying with the Canon or exchange for a Nikon Coolpix P1000 does it take away what is your opinion and one more detail mine is professional or Nikon P1000? Anyway which one is better? Thank you.
Please tell me the images quality of this camera I want to buy...is it like canon EOS 80d quality ??? All it's all for zoom and nothing???? DSLR or Just a Camera???
The P1000 is an amazing camera with a lot of nice features for a consumer camera. The 125x is the zoom range of the lens. The actual magnification of objects is more like 60x - really, really good for camera. I wonder what the next generation of this camera series will bring us?
@@allanallen1835 I'm not sure about what you are asking. The Canon sx70 lens has a 65x zoom RANGE since the FL can range from 3.8 to 247 mm. The zoom range has little to do with the magnification of the image (naked eye equivalent size).
Someone should use this at the Great Lakes when, I think it's about 15 miles away, Chicago can be seen from across the water. THAT would be very interesting.....
