TR: "So yeah, we're super high energy, everyone plays twelve instruments and is all over the stage during live performances." Pino Palladino: " I'm going to stand in one spot and play bass the entire show and it will be the best thing ever." TR: "Okay, I can see it."
Look at these modern "artists" live verses these tried and true bands that got their start performing live in front of small crowds. Nowadays they can make my screeching cat-in-a-tree grinder voice sound like Adele the computers and mixers they use and it shows when the "artist" has come out and lip sink to their own music.
It's incredible how amazing NIN live sounds. I've seen a lot of bands who just arent the same outside the studio production, but not NIN. Trent Reznor is truly a music god.
They have a good sound engineer because they sound amazing. This concert is at staples center in LA and that arena is huge so the acoustics is not always great. This is the best live version of this song I have ever seen. Amazing!
I nearly collapsed in the front row when they played this in Spokane. DRINK LOTS OF WATER BEFORE A NIN SHOW. I drank tequila. big mistake. LOVE U TRENT!!!!!!!
One of the best performances I've seen on RU-vid My husband got to see them before he passed away. And he told me it was too incredible. He couldn't put it into words .just a big fucking smile on his face for days!! Thank you NIN. for giving him one of those once in a lifetime happy as shit moments!!!
So awesome Deborah.. YOU put it into words so beautifully…….. It moved me…. I’ll now always use: “happy as shit lifetime moments” with respect to you 🖤🖤💜💜
Tim Schrum dude I saw them live after having chemo in the morning... then did the exact same thing the next day after a decent drive to the next city.. back to back days of chemo and NIN.. good luck to you brother beating that awful disease.. you seem in good spirits and that goes a long way
Finlay Poulsen seen em back in the 90's on their downward spiral tour. Great show.We had balcony and security let us on the floor because he was blocking our view. Lady luck.
Finlay Poulsen Seen NIN twice in my life...first time 1994, Denver, CO, with Marilyn Manson opening. Then 2008 at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. I have always loved and still do love Trent Reznor...
Already knew them because of Hurt one of my favorite songs because I really can connect to the lyrics, it baffles me that I did not found this song earlier though. By the way I love that the NIN Fans do not react toxic to the promo by black mirror, it's the first time I don't see a "war" between "dumb opportunists who just ruin everything" and the "I knew them before it was cool" people.
@@Akshaykumar-bs9ml In Black Mirror season 5 episode 3 Ashley O is this pop star played by Miley Cyrus who is shown singing a pop song where the beat sounds like the original nine inch nails one. At the ending Ashley sings the actual song by them . That's all I'm gonna tell u though since you should watch the episode and I don't want to spoil it .
Trent is one of the best music writers and producers of our generation, he made the music industry change when nin formed to give us alternative or industrial.
Exactly why I love watching all the liv shows from 90s through Now & I hope More-Trent Reznor is able to truly emote in a way I’ve not seen from other Artists & though stages of life-good-bad-Up-down though decades..... I feel him & feel the changes & what an inspiration Thank you for living & giving
YUMMY THE WHOLE SHOW A TESTAMENT TO TRENT'S GENIUS..THE LIGHTING IS HIS AMAZING CONCEPT THAT PRO'S AROUND THE WORLD CAME TO SEE..EVERY WORD EVERY NOTE PURE GENIUS,,I ADMIRE ADORE AND AM AMAZED BY HIM AND HE NEVER CEASES TO SURPRISE ME EVERY TOUR...LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM,,,,,
They always put on a great show. Saw them in the 90's in Toronto, they had this nuclear orange light that light the whole place up during the riff of WISH 👌
The awesome moment when your 4 year old sings this at you when you try to take toys off him so he can go to sleep. I'm pretty sure i've got this parenting thing right :D
That's hilarious! My 7 year old sings this song, as well as other Nine Inch Nails songs. It's so funny hearing kids singing this type of music. It just proves they have awesome parents.👍🏻
Sooo many memories come flooding back! The second concert I ever went to was NIN! It is one of the best and clearest memories from high school I have!.
It was amazing to see Head Like A Hole performed live. I've been a fan since I was 13 and I was 35 when I got to see NIN in concert during the Tension tour. I got a selfie in the light and lemme tell you, that was the. best. lighting ever! I got to see my childhood idol live and get the best picture of myself ever! 😂
Do you ever wonder why the whole Year Zero show/movie thing hasn't worked out? I think it's because your living it. You are changing the world, Trent!!!!
So glad I got to see NIN with a perfect circle many many years back!!! Crazy Trent is still doing his thing, kinda figured he would a retired years ago
what is TRULY STUNNING...Pretty Hate Machine was Composed, arranged and performed in studio all by Trent Reznor himself...then on tours he'd hire artists to perform with him...kinda sad that he doesnt do that any more :S
@@stephenrussell8600 Trent Reznor said he heard #TheCure when he was young & he'd never heard anything like it & it changed EVERYTHING! they were a major influence for him.
@Trentreznorofficial oh wow... that is really you then. Ahah that's huge, it reminds that the greatest people are also the humblest. Honestly I am not a huge fan of NIN anymore and you have been doing so much better music lately... It's incredible how fresh and original it is, like totally brilliant. So I wouldn't look back, even if I can understand that it's a temptation and it's also normal to do so sometimes. I will gladly listen to your last works in the next days :) Kindly Sara
@Trentreznorofficial but of course, listen to yourself to know better, regardless of others' opinion. One thing is for sure, the music you and Atticus Ross made for the films is a standalone work of art.
Too many years ago when this song first came out all of my friends and I got the album. For me it was the first CD I ever owned. I listened to it so many times that that Cd needed to be replaced several times! Still amps me up just to here the opening cords!
I would do anything to see them in concert! I’ve been a fan since downward spiral came out when I was 12. I can’t get enough of them and now I’m 39 now and My obsession is growing every single day. God help me I’ll be 90 still rocking out to head like a hole!
