I love the ET5, NIO has opened my mind to so many colours. Normally I like just black, with NIO I would do blue, white even the yellow. Truly art on wheels, with plenty of innovative tech. $NIO
Tesla is just a simple car, good performance but very simple, the ET5 it is a bit more, sporty, performance, good design.. Better price, better service...
Genuinely beautiful exterior lines, clean and logical interior and battery swap...WINNER !! Also...from limited viewing of this video, the fit, finish and build quality of both interior and exterior looks to be of a very high standard. Lovely.
Everything looks really good except for the front door. It feels luxurious because it is frameless, but the edge of it looks really sharp so it looks dangerous. It is likely that the driver may be injured or clothing may be torn. If I were in charge of design, I would have pointed this out for sure. Btw, the city view looks really good.
Thank you so much. I drove the Nio ET7 last weekend in The Netherlands. It was a very comfortable car. The ET5 was on display but not ready for test drive. Please show us all Nio products. The battery swapping ability makes it very interesting for longer distances. The way you present cars is admirable. 🦚✨🔥👌

fast charging makes it an option for longer distance. The battery swap would be used by pretty much everyone at the same time in the same direction - classic season driving. But with decent charging speed taking no longer than a coffee or wee break, this is the game changer. 30mins for 200km is not quick enough...
@@Michael-jf9dw Each battery swap cost 10 euro. On top of the battery lease which is very high 170 euro and the bigger battery pack is 260 euro. And then the car itself is more expensive without the battery than the competition WITH BATTERY.
Finally NIO came to understaning that they need to sell to a broader consumers market and this model nailed it. Bellow 50K Eur premium sedan, looks sporty and elegant, faster than regular Porsche Panamera that needs 4,4 seconds to 100 KMh and this thing needs only 4s. Cosidering looks, comfort and technology all this for price that average buyer can afford this should be the best seller. Why one would buy Porsche for 200k eur that is slower than NIO? and you need to pay the fuel
Another excellent review. In terms of features and handling, NIO, XPENG and BYD seem to offer competitive cars to Tesla, although Tesla has an edge on software. Nevertheless, why does Tesla continue to outsell them by a margin, especially the Model Y? are Teslas considered more prestige and desirable? Kinda like Apple products
Hi there, glad you like it. Tesla still dominates in the global EV market, but in China, the BYD and Wuling are on first or second sales position then following by the Tesla. I wonder why the color options (interior and exterior) for the ET5 are so limited for Europe. No first light kiss, arctic green. No color combo inside with cool gray or green and bright headliner....... always dark headliner.
I dont' know: though I love Nio, I think its sedans are tailored for the chinese market. What kills the deal for me (and for many other europeans) is the stupidely low cargo to car-size ratio. The fact it's not a hatch kinda sucks too. I'll chose a Model 3 over it anytime. Had it been a hatchback with decent cargo-space it would have been the other way around.

This car is the most convinient. I dont know how they are evan able to sell cars that charge overnight or several hours? that is ridicules like you are waiting for comunity bus by the schedule...idea of owning a car is to be autonomus at any goven moment and NIO is the only EV that can perform that. this company is the future!
Overall Good information. But you cant compare ET5 with fossils like bmw 3-serie and Audi A4. Tesla model 3, Polestar 2, XPENG p5 etc its more relevant. When that is said, Im pretty sure that et5 its more comfy then tm3, since that Tesla isnt comfy at all. Its a stiff, noisy gocart with ipad on wheels.. I think ET5 looks so much nicer too, then tm3…

@@joyevs_TV The nomi is good but in Europe according to Auto feugil test drive you cannot turn it off when it keeps reminding you when you move out of your lane etc etc which lessens the driver’s experience. Sadly Nio is not coming to Canada so I am looking at the Polestar 3, a joint venture between Geely and Volvo. I was going to buy the Porsche Cayenne hybrid but with the German industry moving to the US who wants to but a US car. Not me. So I decided to buy the best electric cars and they are all made in China. I am not keen on the autonomous driving aspect that China is moving towards though.

@@joyevs_TV Me too but too much autonomous driving focus. Right now I have no car having just returned to Canada. Polestar is my best bet with delivery in 4th quarter 2023. Nio should forget the US, China should reduce trade with the US. But Canada with an imbecilic moron of a Canadian PM is obeying and anticipating US instructions like a stooge he is. Polestar enters Canada as a high end Volvo which for now goes under the radar with the Canadian bureaucracy which id under the control of the US as well. Just like their news services.
This is a very small man. (175cm/5 feed) and he only has a small space above his head. An average European is 190cm/6.2 food). This makes this car not applicable for the normal man in Europe. Or do they only target small women? What a pity!

A ridiculous post by someone who most likely doesn't know the facts.. So here they are.. & please fact check me on everything.. Q2 NIO had $8.1B cash and short term investments. From Q2 Current total debt is $1.8B. & also in Q2 NIO posted a loss of $409m.. So with NIO paying off all of their debt NIO has enough cash at current cash burn rates to last them 15.4 quarters.. This brings them without any further dilution to approximately Q2 2026.. Previous company estimates have NIO profitable by 2024 for the entire year... The list of catalysts for NIO is honestly quite ridiculous in a very good way.. Just don't understand why Lucid is valued $5B higher than NIO. When they delivered a messily 3321 EV's YTD, (compared to NIO's 82434 YTD), & have $4.2B cash $3.7B in total debt, gives them when all debts are paid off $230m!! & In Q2 they had a loss of $1.7B!! This is as you can probably tell a company that is heading for bankruptcy or major share dilution.. Investors are seriously screwed & maybe the hopes are waiting for the fed to show up with a truck load of Cash to help out matters.. But considering that Lucid is (61%) Saudi Owned, they just snubbed Biden to pump more oil before the mid terms, & have applied for membership in the BRIC'S countries.. Those hopes are pretty dim, IMHO.. So as far as quality products and services go.. NIO is a far better company in this regard.. Tesla is profitable & offers the least for the most philosophy.. & for $15K for FSD in cars that don't offer LiDAR, are taking away sensing units out of the EV's, along with just offering 2mp low res cameras.. Is a L2 scam IMHO.. NIO is testing right now L4 in Detroit MI rigged up with Intel Mobileye's L4 Autonomous hardware NIO has a partnership with them & Robotaxi's are going around Detroit MI as I write this!!
