Punk rock should mean freedom, liking and accepting anything that you like, playing whatever you want, as sloppy as you want, as long as it's good and it has passion.
yeah this is Kurt Cobain's definition of punk rock, he said in the interview and i like it, maybe i like both grunge and punk rock... as long as you use a guitar, bass and drum set to express your frustration, anger, hysteria, love, or to fuck the world with its establishment, sickness, inequality, normality, stupidity... it always get me high as fuck. 030terror Nirvana hated the term Grunge, and they thought it was a bullshit label the media gave their music... and it's true. XD Nirvana are anything in a mixture of Punk Rock, Pop and occasionally metal... there is no set Genre for them, so like they said, Musical Freedom... No one genre.
Save Pasta Monsters I was making fun of the fangirl who takes her impression of Kurt to be the real thing. Kinda like what stalker's do. They don't see the complex and layered human behind all their tedious and mundane interactions, and from other people's impressions, which are more reflections of their own prejudices than the character of the person in question.

Probably because the interview was done when they were touring in a foreign country. Imagine a foreign interviewer speaking a language you don't understand to a band from a foreign country also speaking a language you don't understand. That's what a lot of fans of American bands from other countries have to deal with.
I don't think so, when he's fucked you can sort of hear it in his voice. His eyes are a tad bit pinned though... I reckon he was just bored and showing it passive aggressively
