This is one of the most overlooked songs in Nevermind - it's a perfect album so it's hard for every song to gain the spotlight. But it's a favourite of mine!

The bass line is just amazing

What I love about Nirvana compared to most other famous Grunge bands is the fact that songs like this make their music seem like a Punk-Grunge hybrid, which is really enjoyable IMO.

God I wish they would've played this at the Paramount. That's probably my favorite concert. I wish they would've played it live more often period.

You can here how influential this song was to the 90's... the chord progression, the simplicity, the hard and soft moments, and yet this song also goes completely under the radar by average listeners. You hear its influence on run around by blues traveler and all for you by Sister hazel, and other pop songs of the 90s

Nirvana specifically fought against being "Flower Sniffin Kitty Pettin Baby Kissin Corporate Rock Whores" and money-men like VEVO are turning them into exactly that!
