Sounds awesome Alex. Out of curiosity, have you ever run the TDX2 with the stock cats- thoughts? I'm currently running the FI TDX set up and although it's nice, I always find myself wishing I had purchased the MD TDX2 instead... I think the MD TDX2 with stock cats would be perfect for my DD
This sounds great - nice car! I have an HR Z with ART pipes (rare this side of the pond!) ready to fit. Will be stock headers, ART pipes, Miltek Y and Cobra non-res.. Should scream nicely! I've heard a few Decat Cobras and they gain a really horrible tinny/raspy sound to them, been told the ART pipes remove this. Yours certainly sounds damn clean!

In to be fitted and mapped W/E 11th Feb.. I'll be sure to add videos! What kinda power did yours make after this? (if it's been mapped) Also having the gallery gaskets changed at the same time -.- Precautionary more than anything. Stupid HR faults
Stator you will be happy with the work and tune. I made 306whp with an Uprev tune in a conservative dyno. That was with heavier oil and stock flywheel. Should be around 310 with my lighter flywheel and OEM spec oil. Good call on gallery gaskets. Better to do them now than have them fail and cause problems. Only problem with the HR. Cant wait to see some videos!
AlexKayRN it's fitted dude! 297whp, sound is unreal. Less drone than the same setup with stock cats on the DE, ART pipes are the business! Once it warms up i'll do some noise vids, traction doesn't exist this time of year!
Hi, have you seen any power increase after tune with this setup?.....Did you have any problems on connection where headers meet the art pipes?......the sound is just awsome!
How do you like the headers? They came with my car not installed but i heard they dont do much performance wise and the sound can be eh. personally i like the stock exhaust sound so im hesitant to put them on.
By any chance did you get a check engine code from this set up? Stillen headers, ART pipes, and shockwave is the set up I’m going for within these coming months.
Great video. The best on youtube expressing motordyne exhaust sounds for sure. I hope to have this exhaust set up in the near future, did you install headers yourself? If so, did you have to pull the engine?
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! This is one of my favorite exhausts for this car. Just a great sound. I installed the headers myself, yes. I didn't pull the engine but loosening the motor mounts and jacking the engine a bit helped. Still a PIA job. Took me about 8 hours all said and done including some busted, bloody knuckles. I could maybe knock a couple hours off if I did it again. Passenger side isn't bad but the drivers side is pretty horrible with so many components in the way.
Nice, I imagine it was a bit challenging in some hard to reach areas? Also have you had any check engine light issues in regards to O2 sensors with the ART pipes (did you have to install any cheaters etc.?). Sorry to pick your brain, you just have the exact set up I'm going for!
Not a problem, that's what I'm here for. On the driver side, the AC lines get in the way and the steering shaft needs to be disconnected. Very hard to get wrenches in there. When I first installed the ART pipes, I had a check engine light. However, a couple weeks after, I got tuned and its been that way ever since.
im in ocean county, maybe ive seen you before, any possibility on a video about reliability or what to look for when purchasing a 350 and what to avoid? i have so many cars i want but the 350 seems to be best bang for buck, i know the transmissions are iffy but thats about it, keep up the vids
We've probably seen each other in passing. I'm always around Jackson/lakehurst/seaside. I will add that to my list of ideas for upcoming videos. I think a lot of people could benefit from that since they are getting cheaper and more people are buying them. Stay tuned!
Yea, I run a tiny Odyssey dry cell to save some weight and it doesnt like the cold weather. Might get a slightly stronger dry cell or just revert back to stock. Thanks for watching!
AlexKayRN it's doesn't completely go silent, just enough for you to notice. I really wanted the art pipes but with emissions and all that. The hfcs are meant to be a bit louder but the art brings out a better tone
jake keast, would you recommend the tdx2? With tax returns coming in I'm seriously tempted to use a portion of it for the tdx2. Just trying to get input from others.
Bill Murphy yes 110% I recommend! I've heard a few 350s in person and nothing comes close to this.. Maybe the tomei but that's if u like single. The tdx2 has that very unique deep tone. Very gtr ish. I have hfcs but they can become quite droney so that's why I have a set of art pipes coming. Somthing I should of done in the first place really haha.
