Pretty cool how such a basic architecture, not refined engine, can sound good. 60° V6 are definitely nice and bang for bucks engines. But nothing beats a V8 growl 😛

The stock exhaust sound of a 350z sounds great. It is not very loud but the note is just perfect. I don't want these aftermarket exhaust sounds. I don't like the test pipes sound either. I don't find them sounding better than the stock sound. To me they sound harsh and i don't like that. The stock exhaust sound is the real 350z sound. Only if we can tweak it up a few steps louder without replacing the whole assembly, it would have been better.

Just got a JDM one of these, Version S and it handles incredible. Coming from a twin turbo Subaru though I find the sound a bit lacking, hopefully figure out an exhaust set-up that works well

Go for APS twin turbo and install either scorpion or magnaflow.... Scorpion is somewhat deeper

I don't even particularly like (or hate) Japanese cars but I'd buy a 350z right away just for the way it sounds. Looks are alright too. Low revving V8's are overrated or just not my cup of tea.

If that's what I'm looking for, I could also looks for something more refined and civilized like a benz v12 or something alike. What I'm saying is, I like v6's, v10's and v12's better than v8's. V8's make the least attractive sound as well I find.

Hi it's because GTR have little same engine.. V6 engine 3.8l with turbos. 350z 3.5l V6. They are realy authentic. Sorry for my english

Because USA V6's aren't inline V6 like this R35 engine or like BMW's straight inline V6 that they use till this day. My daylidrive is e46 330ci and even on stock exhaust it sounds great especialy after 3000 rpm :)
