Nissan Note MPV 2006-2013 review - CarBuyer 

Bought one today 16/1/2021 seriously. Grey 2007, 111,000 miles, £1300, looks good drives faultlessly.

That glovebox deserves an oscar

My 2010 note has been super reliable with nearly 130,000 miles on it .very economical for a 1.6 as well .

Great for a learner driver. Sturdy and safe and an easy drive. Bought second hand 2006 model.

Helaas heb ik laatst afschiet moeten nemen van de geweldige Nissan note uit 2006 van familie den hartigh. Hij een jaar in het bezit gezin en heeft vele taken volbracht helaas was daar een boosdoener die roet in het eten gooide. En het voor de familie den hartigh verpeste. Nu kunnen ze hun droom niet naleven. RIP Nissan note.... Hij zal nu een taak voltooien in Afrika.

Love my Note 2008 SE Automatic silver. Great space in boot ideal for my mobility scooter, fits with plenty of room left for shopping bags.

I had one of these a few years ago. Good points- really practical with loads of storage space and great roominess for four adults on long trips. The built in sat-nav and comfortable seats. Nissan dealership was really helpful and gave excellent customer service. Downsides- nasty gear change, thirsty 1.6 litre petrol engine, the image (people kept telling me their gran drove one), it was broken in to twice (I blame the very dark rear windows), the CD player skipped on all but the flattest surfaces, the AC wasn’t very cold, the rear passenger door was missing a few bolts and sagged after 2 months, the airbag light came on for no reason, expensive low profile tyres... Maybe mine wasn’t a good example and some things were bad luck; hit and run by a taxi, x 2 cracked windscreens and the break-ins but it all left a bad taste and I only kept it 18 months.

I recently bought one from 09/10 and it's the exact same model as this, had no idea of all it's little perks haha had no idea of two things 1) the glove box is air con'd and 2) the there's a space underneath the passengers seat XD I'm not all too bothered about the downsides because I'm mainly going to be using the car to get my drums to gigs and with it's boot space, I'm totally sorted (with the backseats down ofc). Damn I bought a pretty good car hahaha

Got one 2007 year white color with Rider bumpers its really practical and pretty lovely ❤

I got the N-Tec in June 2011 and have to say I'm very pleased with it!! My only gripe is why put temp road works on the satnav mapping though?!! It's really irritating around here as the works were finished up 18 months ago, and I do begrudge paying £100 for an update!

You can't beat the rear adjustable seat for legroom

Love these Note vehicles. Neat and nifty. Shame they stopped selling them in the U.S. and Canada. But it’s always been a more European friendly motor

I am looking for a used family car that's compact, and the Note seems to fit the bill. My first choice would have been Honda Jazz, but they just seem too expensive.

To much voice (1.6 engine)and specificaly unstablle gear box in some high(soft) terain rouds. But good comfort and family car.

PROBLEM. IF THE WIRING LOOM TO THE REAR, BOOT DOOR GOES. IT IS NOT EASY TO FIX. THE WIRING LOOM SEEMS CHEAPLY MADE WITH INFERIOR MATERIAL THAT BREAKS. NOT NICE WHEN A LOAD OF SHOPPING IS TO GO IN THE BACK. KIDS ON THE SEATS, AND 2 ADULTS IN FRONT. NISSAN CAN DO BETTER. AND ALSO PERHAPS RECAL AND REPLACE FAULTY WIRES

i test drove this a few days ago, , here in the us , the engine paired with the CVT makes it to slow to merge onto traffic and the interior is very bland and bargain basement feeling , to be honest it reminded me of a honda fit (JAZZ) , its boring for any real driving and the brakes are too spongey , i would go for a baseline golf in a heartbeat !

I had a diesel one years ago. The metalwork is thicker on a Christmas turkey. The plastics more suited to a takeaway Tupperware. It ate its fuel pump and injectors. Twice. It was a hateful shitbox

Wish mine had a 6th gear. It's so annoying going 70 on the motorway and the revs are at 3500 😕 pretty crap car if I'm honest but it sure does the job

I'm in the market for one of those. But what version of the Note is shown in this video? SE or SVE? Elegance or Tekna, or whatever? Also, it seems like the guy in the video has some difficulty getting into the back of the car. Is that really so?

It definatly dosnt go round corners "really well". Got one as a courtesy car and whilst going round a roundabout at 15mph max, it understeered them oversteererd quite dramatically. Horrid to drive

changed a 2012 Micra for a 2013 Note and that was a bad move... the Note's gearbox is very very notchy and sometimes it's hard to change into 2nd after pulling away at a roundabout... Nissan also say that that's how the Notes are built and cannot fix the problem... very disappointing!

I dont know how this car is fun or good handling, it is one of the worst that I have driven. There is totally no response from the steering wheel and the body leans in the corner are frightening.

Horrible car to drive, nothing but problems, terrible on motorway, sways all over the place going at 65-70mph, feels like your going to go off the road, bumpy at a snails pace in traffic, the seats in the front are pretty firm and uncomfortable, on a good note responsive steering and practical / spacious, design of car on the outside is nice apart from the front headlights.

I only hate the head lights ugly asf
