Very nice video but what breaks/fails in these transmissions? how can you statically test a replacement gearbox prior to fitting it? I have a lot of noise from 2012 juke and am hoping its just a failed clutch/

Great job but my questions are, what got bad and was changed in the transmission? what year and model of nissan vehicle is it and how was the car behaving before it was diagnosed for a transmission rebuild, thanks
Looks like the part that normally breaks which is the mechanism that he was testing with the air gun @3:30. And @3:50 they show a brand new one, that was not the original that had been cleaned, that is new out of the box. They don't do parts for that, they replace that whole thing. That whole thing is a single "unit". Mine is acting up and the bill is going to be about US$3750 on a 2014 Pathfinder. Not sure it's worth it. And it is the primary reason that i will never own another Nissan (CVT) auto.
@@thedillybot I'm having issues with my 2014 Altima's CVT 😠😡🤬🤬😢😢😢. I'm going to have to get a new car too. Dealership will only give 1 year/12k warranty for a new one. Why would I want the same faulty equipment in my car??!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
@@ericaford1454 if they replace it then it's one year I guess and you're probably good for 5 or so. I personally think it's a defect and they should have recalled the parts. Would have cost them a fortune and why bother when you have your customers the foot the bill. Sad really. Last Nissan I will ever own and I'll tell anyone else who will listen my sad story and beware. They only get to burn me once. Going domestic pickup this time. Cheaper to repair, more parts, etc.
Nissan cvt it's nothing but a garbage they are made cvt transmission to save FO but in fact you going to spend more than u saved for fix the transmission
