I do think what Clix said to Alex is kinda rude as all he did was nitro ram into his wall, I ain't a hater against Clix I just think that he can't say that Alex doesn't know how NA works if it wasn't an actual 1v1. Plus we all know that Clix would moan if Alex did the exact same thing to him in that scenario
For the nitro, it only is for sprint so you can’t just walk off height but for some reason you need to sprint jump to not take fall damage. If you don’t have the medallion and you just used a nitro splash unlike the flowberry effect if it runs out mid falling it gets rid of you fall damage immunity and you die.
Made finals of the NA cash cup and honestly I loved the meta with no gloves. Still had solid movement and wasn’t nearly as chaotic as I my screen shaking from 20+ people all using the gloves at the same time in end games
I'm 50/50 on this topic, I mean I'm glad fists are vaulted but at the same time it was so hectic I didn't even qual 💀 I was popping off liking it at first and almost qualed with 2 games and then the rest of my games I got absolutely destroyed by the splashes. idek.
@@volcher787everyone including you af i have acsess to nitro. Its not an automatic win item. Clix is not the sole owner of nitro. Its not that op if everyone has very easy access to it. Do you honestly think you can beat alex or other pros with nitro just cause you have nitro?
@@volcher787 bro first its just whos better adapter second clix killed him 5 times all in tournaments (with them being nerfed to) and they 1v1ed and clix destroyed him both 0 ping in a 1v1 map
as a very small comp player i personally really enjoy this season and i basically tried to tell everyone that without gloves we are srewed people are finally starting to realise how handy some devent movement actually is all tho it is a little overpowered, love the content❤
I played the cash cup and I normally qual a little over, this time I ended with 27 points and a broken keyboard. I got nitroed the entire time it was torture
I actually loved this cash cup and thought rotating with fizz and nitro was pretty fun i think they should nerf the structure damadge of the nitro and keep the fist vaulted
I actually though this was going to my first qual for the victory cc because of the placement but I could never play endgame because I had no rotation 😢
bro i played na solo cc and won my first game with 7 elims and every game after that ppl would not fuck off with the nitro its actually wild how op nitro became when fists got removed
Aussie I actually felt that the cup was more skillfully cause I did not get ran in on with gloves. Only once did someone get me with the nitro. But there is at least a way to counter it
Would love to see epic change the way nitro works for example if someone is using the standard nitro effect (from the rings, splashes etc) after running through a wall you lose the effect so you can't just go on a rampage unless you are holding max splashes and if someone is using the medallion implement a cooldown after doing structure damage with the nitro
dude and the gloves gone made it so much harder it was basically whoever had the infinite ammo medallion won. i got second and 3rd in two games and i died the same way because of getting destroyed by the boom bolt. No fists made me have to burn so much unless the territory had open cover
I finished 134th in last EU ZB cup (48 year old dad on Xbox s) Cups are fine, but what is ruining ranked is boggie bombs and crossbows (whoever has that wins the game). Build as a casual I like that nitros and fists eliminate the natural advantage that “bob the builders” have in the few ranked games I played
Even though I qualed in opens when I was just trying to play for endgame. People can just run up on a fully built brick wall and destroy me. Especially in endgame, you can’t even plan your rotates past the 8th zone because everybody is trying to get in on you so you have to concentrate on visual sound effects and your shotgun aim.
as an na player it was actually better because even though anybody can run through peoples boxes there are ways to evade that and personally in my games no one was abusing the nitro splashes and actually using them for rotation
didnt play the na solo cup but the eu duo cup and it was so much more enjoyable imo. yes people run through your box but it is way easier to counter than the gloves. also you arent completely screwed if one of your teammates doesnt find gloves and you die to the first team that w keys you. basicly the game isnt a big 50/50 anymore and you can actually fight and play proper endgames
i personally loved the solo CC yesterday and even qualed on 50 ping and i was able to kill people that jumped in ad if i was getting keyed i used my own nitro and pushed them back. Also usually with fist its hard to hit them back because ur basically stunned
YES AUSSIE i played the solo victory cups and the 4 endgames i made i died to nitro splash whether that is from 3 people running into my box at the same time or just getting hit up 50 meters into the air and dying to fall damage
Yeah I have to agree I didn’t even qual bc of how many people were Raming into my box. On top of that when you do use nitro you have infinite sprint for some reason now. Idk why but it’s stupid.
After playing the solo cc and qualifying. I liked playing the nitro. You can easily counter them going into your box by placing that one type of stairs. If they go in it's easy kills. I prefer this more than the fist
The issue isn't nitro in 1v1s. When some one third parties you with nitro you are dead. You can't run or heal. Also in endgame someone can just grief you and there is nothing you can do to stop them. Overall I believe the fists and nitro need reworks or heavy nerfs.
I didn’t play the solo victory cup, because gloves got vaulted, I was only going to use it for movement but I knew and saw nitro was insane, I decided not to play and played pickleball with my family
Imagine if they made it to where say if you get shot while using the gloves then they have a cooldown make it like 50 or 75 damage taken then its a 12 sec cooldown b4 you can fist or punch
In every game of my qualifiers for the cup, I had kids hide in bushes, then pop Nitro and pump me through my builds. Its worse because I live on the west coast and get 60 ping on average in tournaments. Even past that, Its worse since kids can still run with the Nitro and get farther away than you if you don't have it.
na cash cup was so bad. I did better in 2 games last week than I did in all 7 this week because I was just got jumped in on by people with nitro. Having no good mobility also was absolutely tragic
In the solo vic cup sometimes when I opened a chest it didn't give me guns and just gave me heals and mats, in one game 2 of the chests in my bunker had this bug, did this happen to anyone else??
bro i played NA cash cup personally i liked the gloves being vaulted and i hated it since gloves are a main way for me to get refreshes in end game but getting gloved in the face and dying is just frustrating
For the first time i am actually happy there was a bug, played the best tournament last solo cash cup and had much more fun without dying to the fist every game. only ended up dying to the nitro dash one time but would rather the nitro then the fist.

@@colehesseltine9657 they should've never gotten vaulted or nerfed it's sad that epic has to listen to the comp players because they get shit on like the first 2 to 3 weeks of this season was fun now there's little to no mobility and the cars are not fun either like every time epic introduces something to the game yall want it gone like I thought fortnite was about having fun not sweating for a win and even then it doesn't feel satisfying now
i hated the solo vc meta i didnt even qual for the first time in years i spent weeks studying fist meta so i can earn and then they remove gloves last second multi billion dollar company btw rip
