Outstanding Capt. Good to see you behind the camera, it’s when you least expect it that the one you always hope for hits the deck, congratulations, hope we can get offshore soon.
Just gotta remember to use a thumbnail that doesn't make it appear as though we have watched the video! I knew I had not watched it, but I sure was confused. Or maybe you guys just need smarter viewers/fans than me LOL!
Great trip Captain Zac! That tog was a beast for sure. I have been using circle hooks when I make my fluke rigs. They hold the gulp just fine and reduce gut hooking fish so the shorts can be safely released. Tight lines.
Got up today at 2 am, going for seabass on the Paramount out of Brielle, I hope to get a limit because fluke was a bit of a bust this summer (lots of shorts, few keepers), great video
I have had my 17ft out 58 miles offshore this summer. I was almost to the Spencer when my vhf crapped out. I pretty much live around the 750s in that boat np. I usually only burn about 20 gallons. The trip I did trying to make the Spencer I only burned 23. That was trolling for 10hrs 😂. People hate me cause I stay out fishing dudes in boats 3xs my size. Should've seen it like 3 weeks ago when I trolled past a pot and hopper in an Everglades 30 something and doubled on 25lb mahi 😂 talk about butt hurt. I loath hoppers too 😂😆😂. You fly a kite up wind and you'll get some bigger surprises then that tog I guarantee it. Cobia and smoker kings are always on structure in that area
