Sorry about uploading it 2 weeks later, my computer has trouble reading my camera. NJT Montclair-Boonton Line train #1009 Hoboken - Lake Hopatcong ALP-45DP #4504 with Comet V cab car #6003
BA ARR JELLY 3 it's a pleasure to read something like this. I've worked on the alp45 dp series & if iam not wrong i've "played" a little Bit on your "Operation seat" . I've Seen them in Montreal and now i will see them in NY.
You are lucky. It's funny hearing the NJ Transit operators messing around (sometimes) on the Central NJ frequency that's streams online. Wish I had pursued the same career as you...would have been Metro North thoo:)
Oh do you generally prefer the cab car or the locomotive cab? In simulators I like the loco cab more, feels more complex - but the cab car seems maybe quieter.
These trains should do Hackettstown-Montclair State change to overhead wires-NY Penn because that's what they were ordered for. The line west of Hackettstown is the old road towards Washington where it connects to Phillipsburg Branch where it meets the Raritan Valley Line
So i have a question. Why does NJT not have the ditch lights on while the train is active? Its only when the bell goes off that they turn on then back off. Why is that?
