In this video I go over all the components of installing an NMEA 2000 network. I also provide a brief technical overview and explanation of what NMEA 2k provides in terms of communications between devices or nodes such as chart plotters, GPS antennas and engine data to name but a few.
I will be installing the components used in this video on my Classic Boston Whaler 17 that has a Yamaha F70 engine mounted on it. The steps outlined in this video will work with any modern engine (that supports NMMEA 2k).
