Here is a collection of my do it yourself videos of projects. Some of the projects are fairly simple. Others are more complex and involved, hence the "Extreme". The latest is my series on restoring a 1966 Boston Whaler 13. I'm almost finished with the series and it's coming out better than I could have expected!
Automotive repairs are going to be a standard here, once I get done with the Whaler you'll see a lot more of these. I will be doing reviews on the tools that I use and plan on doing some giveaways! I will be putting up some videos on plain outdoors fun as well, fishing related and I'm planning some drone videos, which should be a blast since I have never flown one before!
Visit our Amazon storefront to see what tools and materials I use: www.amazon.com/shop/josesextremediy This helps support our channel as we earn commissions from sales
You can expect a new video every one to two weeks on Sunday evenings.

OMG I was pondering how I was going to get documents out of the safe... drill, grinder, crowbar etc. less than 10 seconds after watching this video the safe was open. Thanks.
Thanks so much for this! I am a DYI and benefitted greatly. I also have to install a cable block assembly because the engine sits too close to the transom on the whaler 11, and I will need help with that!
This doesn’t work on mine, do you have any recommendations? Should I just keep on hitting it and hoping that it will work. I’ll update tomorrow if it works
Hey, any recommendations for setting up a 1993 model? The 20 mm initial idle setting seems wrong on this one. And the wide open stop is non adjustable.
Brilliant work on the 4th bang, does this only work with flat batteries , as once i put new batteries in i couldn't seem to get it to work ? But thanks spent 3hrs looking for the key, never found it, Passports were inside the safe !!!
Hello good! how are you? My name is Alex Goldenstein! I am contacted by NIVIKO. I was watching some of your videos on Amazon where you tell your feelings about the product. We sell headphones and smartwatches with our brand. We would love if we could put something together and work on it. We are a company from Argentina, at a time of expansion in the United States we are starting on Amazon and we would like other customers to see your experience. Are you interested?

I found the two wires that controlled the electromagnet on mine opened up the safe, drilled a hole in the back of the safe, run a wire underneath my desk hooked up a toggle switch, put the panel and all back on the door and that is how I open my safe nowunder the desk secret switch running off at 9 V battery
I watched your video and put a unit together. When I try it I get a spark and doesn't look like enough power. Using a Riding mower battery 12VDC with CCA of 135 A. Then placed 2 similar batteries both 12VDC and CCA 135 A. Still not enough to cause a weld. What size batteries should I be using. (Cost conscious).. What would be the minimum size, CCA, to cause a weld. Also, can you provide, or show, the actual wiring.. Thank you

Hi Jose, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU very much for yr video. I started by banging the safe with a hammer for 8 or 10 times and gave up. While wondering what else i cld do, i decided to give it another try. AND ...voilá, it worked. You have to catch the exact timing...and have a set of fresh batteries 😂😂😂 Thank you again mate! People like u restore my faith in humanity.
@@ExtremeDIYGuy I'm running a Johnson fifty twin I seen fifty to one but wanted to have a safety build in so was going to go forty to one thanks for the reply
Jose, you are a life saver and a safe saver. I had looked on RU-vid shortly after the keypad on my Winchester safe quit working about two years ago. I didn't find anything that would help. Just recently, I looked again and found your video. On your recommendation, I went directly to eBay and purchased one of the 5715SC keypads. It arrived today, June 18, 2024 and I was beside myself trying to get it installed. In a word, Perfect. Thank you, Jose!!
gday mate that is an invaluable tool to have i couldnt even get a manual for my 2021 f40 here in aus so a fella in canada sent me one and i printed it of took some time but its genuine we cant get anything like this here all to do with dealer money ,so if you have a problem take it to your dealer and get stung they wont even let you fit your new motor has to be done by a dealer at a cost . Im a do it yourselfer so my dealer will never see this engine again as i say to others it is a four stroke engine like your car only it runs on water not bitumen regular maintenance and it will run forever , a lot of guys are scared to do any maintenance themselves , well for me in the first week i had it i had anodes out , thermo out , plugs out , leg off , oil drained and refilled , impelleor off and tested with aftermarket ones how hard can it be , if i stuff something up ill fix it up plenty of your tube videos to help you and its the same motor since 2013 they show you how to clean injectors change filters in the vst tank and pumps , your looking at around 250 au for 20 hour service some bigger engines are of the scale anyway good video on setup of the diagnostic kit .
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't know it was that restrictive in AUS! I'm wondering if you can buy the ebay or amazon version there. I like the fact that it includes all the manuals! Just be careful if you do buy the software, you will probably need the newer version, the one I show 1.33 will prob not work for you.
Thank you so much. I used my elbow instead of my fist and it came open easily. One happy daughter, now has her Christmas money back, without wrecking her safe.
Can someone tell me if my trailer is leaning back would I still be able to attach it to the ball hitch. Just bought a new boat and the boat and trailer are leaning back kind of higher then where the hitch would be
Thank you for this! Got a flat yesterday on my way home and to my surprise, no wheel lock key anywhere. Used Method 1 and got it right off. Why do they even bother with these things? Thank you!
Hey jose! Great videos been following all of them, and they have been very helpful! I've replaced my vro to a regular fuel pump all my lines ect. And Rebuilt my carbs. My main problem was at full throttle i was only getting about 14mph rather than the 30mph i have been in the last couple years.(last year, ran perfect) i'm really hoping the carb rebuild solved this problem. I have yet to throw em back on and test it on the water. just stumbled upon this video about the reeds. Do you think the reeds could have anything to do with my half speed at full throttle problem? Appreciate any feedback and thank you for your time!!
