Excellent video Harry on how to hit the sweet spot on the driver more often! Whenever I hit diver or any other club in my bag, I check the face to see where I made contact with the ball. I notice on this one Taylor Made Burner driver I hit it on the heel more than I like. Of course, my distance suffers because of this and on occasion the ball goes right, not a slice. I have a Taylor Made Tour Burner driver that I occasionally use and I have no problem with hitting the sweet spot. This club is one inch shorter in length! This may be part of my problem is in set up! Maybe you can analyze this and get back to me! Thanks Harry!

Regarding the driver out the heel, yes having the shaft slightly shorter than needed can be an issue because of this. Great video as always Harry! I've been struggling to find a feel that works for the downswing on my irons and woods, I could do with something that simplifies both so I can gain greater confidence using them particularly my woods!

Hi - great video, so many good tips! 1 question: around the 5min mark you mention pushing onto the toes causing a heel strike - what would be your advice to stop the weight transfer onto the toes? Any drills/tips?

Thank you, I’ll take a look at filming a video on this topic for you to post in the next few weeks! But I’d consider the posture/ setup, distance from the ball and early extension during the swing. This week I do also plan to film a video on how to stop standing up in the golf swing so that’ll help too!

heel strike is my main issue in golf today. When I miraculously hit center face, it's over 300 yards straight. But usually, hit heels and fades or slices. So hard to correct this. I'll try with the headcover tomorrow.

Yes, tee shots are very tough when you’re not hitting your driver out the centre, any heel strike and the ball is curving left to right (assuming you’re a right handed player) the headcover drill will teach you to keep your arms closer to the body as opposed to pushing them away. Let me know how it goes!

Same issue Found my ball to club head alignment set up was off. I’d set the club down and align the ball to the center of the clubhead, but when I elevated the club, the impact position actually got closer to the heel. (If that makes sense) Basically, now align the ball slightly more to the toe side when the club head is on the ground.
