Just realised that it was me on 4L45 at the beginning, diverted via ECML. I also worked 4E25 Heck empties back via ECML because something else was going on on the Joint line too, so ECML both ways that day.
Good to know you are still around this way and more importantly still watching my videos, thank you. I am led to believe there was a level crossing issue on the Joint later in the day.
@@werringtonjunction I’m around Peterborough most days to be honest, although a lot of it is unsociable for filming. I worked 4E08 to Wakefield this morning, and have it again tomorrow morning, but that’s 0640 off the station north, 0444 book on at Doncaster and first passenger south.
@@S2RUF Used to spend a lot of time watching the freight coming and going from New England during those night shifts many years ago but us old folks are still in bed that time of day now.😁😁😁 Soon be lighter nights coming so it will be good to catch some different workings for a change.
That is 'The Werrington Dive Under'. It allows trains to and from the Peterborough direction to go via the Joint Line (Spalding, Lincoln and Doncaster) without having to cross over the East Coast Main Line at the flat crossing at Werrington Junction (as per my channel picture). The grey one was completely dead and it was quite probable that the rear one was also malfunctioning as it was being returned to the loco inspection point at Peterborough.
