Hello , Kye , this is amazing recipe, it is so simple and easy to make, the important thing is it tastes exactly like regular English muffins , almost 100%.similar to Mcmuffin. The texture is soft and little bit chewy. It is so good. I used 4 grams of baking powder instead of instant yeast (for I couldn't wait for 30 minutes haha ) and baked them in the oven at 380f for about 23 minutes, the outside color turns golden, came out of oven perfectly. With the egg, ham, and cheese add up the full flavor and taste of the traditional English muffins. Thumbs up , love it :)

Nice, nice !! Looks exactly like McDonald's egg muffins, beautiful :) this is must try , simple , easy , yet yummy .with a cup of coffee will make a perfect breakfast. Going to make this for my breakfast now , yippee :)
I know my answer is late, but you can substitute Gum of Arabic for Xanthan gum for anything you like. I think the ratio is the same in number (i.e.: 1/2 tsp of xanthan gum would be 1/2 tsp gum of arabic)
