I just don't understand why Bruce keeps getting left behind. He's got a real-life martial art as his fighting style, his moves are eye-catching without being over-the-top, he has a distinct look that fans can quickly identity, and he seems like a pretty decent guy other than working for a villain like Kazuya. What gives?

I don't understand. A fan favorite, well-designed character, powerful movelist... and simply replaced by, um, Josie? It's even one of Michael Murray's preferred characters. What, low character popularity? Oh, Harada's recurrent excuse for his whims. Xiaoyu is always at the bottom of the character usage list, yet she doesn't miss a game (gotta include all the waifus!). Same with bears.
Yeah, I'm calling BS on the low character popularity thing, when the likes of Ganryu, Panda, and Shaheen are favored over Bruce. Hell, Ganryu's low approval rate is canon, based on his Tekken 7 trailer.
Yeah the trolls will say Bruce has 1 fan asking for him he had one of the highest play rates in tag 2 his replacements have still yet to outshine him in design and moves ill stick to old Tekken for now
@@Kilesfactor Bruce is better than all of the Mishimas in Tekken 6 as well. His cd3 is only -12 on block in that game. Same kind of damage on his combos like in Tag 2.
@@mwkan772 Hard yes but it was fun times where you could play with all characters. Hopefully Bruce will come in Tekken 8 and also Wang Jinrei. Would like to see more interaction with him and Feng since Tekken 5.
He has such cool combos though, why they haven't brought him back is beyond me. If they choose someone like josie or fahk again over bruce i'm going to lose my damn mind.
Bruce is the NFS series' rock music to Tekken series characters. Maybe I should talk about the nostalgic value and bias about this character, but I don't know where to start. It's going to feel crazier than the angry character beggars. If Bruce received GT7 Trial Mountain treatment in Tekken 8, where his b2 is nerfed, would y'all still play him?

1:50 b+2 does not actually guarantee a CD+3 on hit. It is actually possible to get up and crouch block. But timing is very tight and you would risk getting picked up for a juggle by d+3,2 or even CD+2, so staying down and taking the CD+3 hit is usually the 'safer' option.

Bruce in TT2 dealt so much damage man especially if you were in a wall stage? Forget it he had everything. Good buttons, mix up potential (wall corner) and don’t let him be in rage mode 🤮🤮🤮. Really miss him hope he’s DLC for Tekken 8

Hopefully Bruce returns in 8 because Josie was not a great substitute she’s a forgettable character who cried for no reason. Fuku isn’t a replacement but could be a rival to Bruce to see who is the better Muay Thai fighter. Like with rivalry in Street Fighter between Sagat and Adon.
Tekken Tag 2 had mega super potential. Best looking combos in tekken series. It’s too bad that due to low sales due to complex mechanics, Namco simply gave up on the game and did not fix the damage/rage damage, capos b14, etc
I may be crazy but I prefer Fahkumram's 3+4 more than Bruce's B2, Fahkumram 3+4 seems like Bruce's B2, but I won't deny that I wouldn't like a challenge between the two in Tekken 8 (A small observation on some of Bruce's moves you must also put the name of Josie who inherited them)
Josie sucks and the copy using the originals moves isnt better and if she was it would reflect in character usage..she's new and people still want bruce lmao
