If you think this plane is bad, try the Hunter F6. Same plane 10.0BR but you get flare hungry SRAAMs! It was 10.3 when the F-14 was added, let me tell you how fun that was...

How i wish everything was balanced, fun and fair for everyone in this game... uptier is pure hell.

mig19 and f104A got lowered 0.3 and it's just stupid. I never knew I had to spare 10 enemies out of the enemy team because they're subsonic korean war jets

AiM 9bs are some of the worst missiles in the game and are very easy to dodge so it’s actually pretty balanced

It's 8.3 in sim, and goes at like 1000kph, so it's even more op there (and AIMB are very good in sim)

i have weapon select as z , beyond visual range/in visual range radar set to x, change radar mode set to 2 , lock target set to up on mouse wheel, flares and air break on mouse side buttons, flaps down as f and up as r. fire/arm selected weapon as space. This is the best combo i have found hope it helps

@@budibunbgung I use the num pad for all radar related controls, and 1 and 2 for guns and payload selection, and airbrake is still H and flares are on my mouse and F key (I usually fly using only the keyboard) and most controls are the defaults

@@Jonathan-yu9ui I've got pitch up / pitch down on my mouse (highly suggested) that way you can use freelook and dodge while watching your own 6oclock

@@EncrypticMethods I still have my mouse enabled for its default functions, I just meant in my previous comment that I tent to just use my keyboard to fly, I'll use mouse for freelook and stuff if I know there are other ppl, but the spotting system is shit so I end up using my mouse anyways

It’s a self defense mechanism, some people even try flaring the ground

@@dakotahondalock5621 if you mean flareing while attacking the ground its mostly to prevent someone missiling you while your looking away(at ground units)

I usually kill bombers with the hunter and then kill the a10s and su25s when they use their missiles

Because the Japs have an f86-f40 with extra maneuverability and 2x aim9bs. The f86-f30 or f86f25 or f86a5 doesnt have those features

I have a 4 KD in it but that's only because A-4E players are some of the most braindead people I've come across in this game

@@doomedt-62 While stock grinding it, I played pretty braindead in order to get specific mods quicker, but I really do like the A-4E despite mostly playing normal swept-wing and variable geometry aircraft over deltas. Including the MiG-21Bis which I never really did well with, and comparatively with the MiG-23M (the 11.0 one) I actually dominate matches often despite its many weaknesses.

@@kommandantkillcodethe US A-4E isn't a bad plane itself, it's just because it's a squadron vehicle you fight players who have never played a single game of jets in their lives and it shows

that whole rank is awful. use the finnish vampire to grind through it. it’s the most bearable of that rank and has the best rewards. brutal uptiers though

@@ISt0leYaCheese at least you can't be jump on by 4 guys at once with no counterplay option. I agree that it's not the best but it actually can pressure enemy fighter a lot when you manage to keep your speed. I play the 152 H and it's excellent, but when you meet 1p51h, 2 f2g and 1 spit, you're done and will not even get a Headon chance. With the he162 you can make them loose alt and keep them busy until your nonexistent team come to not help you. Like Defyn said about bad plane you have to play it like a vulture and the 162 is quite good at this: coming at 800kph to drag fighter low and give your team a chance is really satisflying

thats cause almost every new jet is terrible cause of powercreep, this thing is a transonic, horrible dog fighting, low velocity gun having hunter, at 9.3, where it will face all aspect missiles and stuff like Lightning, Mig-19 etc that are at the same br
