The real reason why Spamton NEO is killing Kris is because Kris is rejecting the ‘A’ and ‘D’ buttons, which clearly spells out ‘ad’. You know, like Spamton’s only vocabulary.
@@PanD0rado Don't judge people on what keys they use for a game. They might even beat you. I used to use arrow keys but my left key stopped working. I tried using WASD but it was not in my comfort zone. I then changed to arrow keys again but my left key was replaced by alt. That may sound bad but I could defeat Spamton neo in my first try with this setup. I may not have the best setup but I have skills, and so might anyone.
to be fair the boss wasn't too difficult. It took me about 5 tries and the only game in that style that I played was like 2 undertale fan games and chapter one before that. (I watched all of underrate I never played it)
@@justamicrowave5297 its very hard. Took you 5 tries with 4 hits per health bar + 8 items. Imagine all of that no hit plus without being able to move sideways
@@pirilon78 They're saying the boss itself isn't hard, not that this no-hit no-sideways run isn't hard. And it's true, the boss isn't hard, it's noticeably easier than Jevil and lightyears easier than sans. This run, of course, was assuredly harder than beating sans (but not nearly as hard as no-hitting sans, even with complete freedom of movement).
So I saw the title, of the video, spamton neo without moving left/right. I thought to myself I've seen people do it without going up/down OR left or right so that wouldn't be interests. But then, I saw he was doing it NO HIT and realized it was the snowgrave spamton fight as well. How is that even possible, that's truly insane.
Now do it without moving, without attacking, without a keyboard, without a screen, without getting hit, without drinking avocado juice and without winning the fight. Pretty easy, ive done it multiple times already.
I cannot stress enough how hard this was, and how it is just barely possible. I'm gonna like, go take a nap now, see you in the next one. edit: two things I'd like to clear up since I'm seeing these asked a lot 1."It's not a bug anymore, it's a feature now" ok yes that's true it was balanced in the latest patch so spamton could deal more damage, but afaik his patterns are exactly the same enraged, so the fight would just be a cakewalk and it wouldn't really be a challenge now would it? Even if his patterns are changed I can't imagine spamming is harder anyway, since almost every attack can be dealt with much more easily. 2."why didn't you farm the first heart attack more?" no need, I optimized the TP gain for the first two attacks so I wouldn't have to stall on an attack grinding for TP, it just makes the fight more enjoyable to watch. grinding more TP would probably just skip the freebie phone attack at the end, and I didn't really wanna skip any attacks that were possible to dodge with this restriction as a showcase as well.
well there's the attack where spamton sends a tower or pillar and player have to shoot the spamton head to go through so yea without shooting that player will definitely take damage
Now kill spamton NEO hitless no moving, no shooting, while doing a backflip, while simultaneously killing sans and jevil at the same time and doing it upside down
@@lokegerhardsson8979 This is false news, you can try it yourself, it's a % based amount of damage; There's a video where a guy mods his HP to like 10000 and it does like 4000 but if you have normal HP it still won't be a oneshot, even in Snowgrave
I skipped his final attack on complete accident. I didn’t know he had one cause I did snowgrave before I did pacifist Spamton NEO and once I discovered he had a final attack I figured it was hard but not THAT hard
I feel like you could’ve actually done this fight a lot more faster. Rather than shooting the blue Spamton heart at turn 3, focus on actually gaining TP by getting close to the bullets that the heart fires off. Normally I’m able to get up to 70% in TP. Another thing that could help is to focus on gaining tp to use X-Slash, since it always hits much more than your normal attack, even if you crit. This might make it faster, although I’ve only ever been able to make it up to turn 6 without actually getting hit. Either way, great work dude.
you can make some parts go faster by spamming Z while holding enter (unless it got patched by the time you see this) Edit: Just saw you used it in part of the fight, I should've watched the whole video lol!
Damn, amazing job dude. btw, couldn't you also farm TPs by stalling the easiest version of the heart attack at 0:38? if you don't damage the heart, the attack will last A LOT more than usual.
I bet a tough part of this was not moving left or right just out of muscle memory. I tried a no roll dark souls 3 run but stopped because I kept rolling by accident haha
The movement pattern of the spamton heads in that "unavoidable" attack is random. Theoretically, one could get plain luck and not get hit. But overall it shouldn't be counted on, so your point is valid. Gratz on the run. Edit: I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've not seen the same spamton head pattern twice...
This condition makes his heart attack UNAVOIDABLE along with several other attacks rather then the very few for up and down only Heres what appears to become unavoidable Pillars Heart Phonehand 1st patern Nose Neo Attack and Snowgrave only Defence mode attack
The challenge can be a bit more forgiving if you get 20 AT by equipments and fighting an enemy outside the 19 required snowgrave encounters. You only have 16 AT.
A grazeless challenge could be interesting, but I doubt it's possible with how big the area for grazing seems to be along with how much space most attacks take up.
@@milesedgeworth3667 deals 3% of his health if you destroy the heart and since it seems like a massive rush to the end all that damage is probably necessary
Im most likely wrong, but that seems like slightly different attack pattern. I know there are some moves spam can do that are impossible, but I could have sworn that they happend earlier than that. Even if I'm remembering correctly and it is spliced, it still is impressive none the less.
It depends on what damage thresholds you hit during the fight and when, being short on damage output will make those moves show up and make the run impossible
Honestly I’d like the fight better for the challenge of only being able to move up and down with either a shortened box or a string from the muffet fight. I was disappointed at how easy it was especially in comparison to jevil and sans
