At my babies gender reveal party, I’m going to have everyone put money into an envelope and bet on what they think it’s going to be, and the party that chooses the correct gender gets to split the winnings. After everyone makes their bet and places their bets into an even bigger envelope, I’m going to run behind a giant screen that has a projector broadcasting “Boy or Girl?” And while the lights are turned off, It’ll count down from 10 to say “It’s: A robbery!” Where then the balloons will burst green confetti, where I will have then made my getaway, Revealing I was never actually pregnant and that I just needed the money for a vacation trip to Washington state.
My partner and I just had a baby , and we simply asked the sonographer what the gender was . It was entirely stress free. I also don't understand why the gender is so important for some people. They should just be glad to have a happy healthy baby.
It's a very dumb fad, created by the 1% to add another expense to having a baby. It's getting like weddings, just how much attention do they need for doing something that should be more intimate.
My newborn is 7. Days old now and it's a beautiful baby girl while everybody was asking me for gender reveal. I wanted to be surprise for me and my husband since we had 4 boys previously
@@Samie4uu congratulations on your baby girl. So many boys were born recently a girl is an absolute blessing. Enjoy your little princess. Wishing your family the best.
@@edie4321 It was not created by the 1%. The woman who came up with it had multiple miscarriages and finally was able to carry a baby past a certain point. Because she was so excited, she had a gender reveal for her loved ones and a part of it was to announce the pregnancy to those who weren't aware yet. She did NOT expect this to blow up like how things have and is really upset that people have been hurting the environment, other people and animals because of these.
@@dragonfliesnh4204 , Nothing goes viral without the CIA's approval. I believe it was the scenario you described, but it met their approval, as they can sell stuff.
Just get a cake or something or just find out at the doctor. I get it’s exciting for you but it’s not worth starting a fire or getting eaten by an alligator
I had plenty of fun texting and calling people and sending sonograph pictures. I’m pretty sure no one wants to go to the reveal, and only come because canceling would make you look bad
I feel bad for the kid who didn't want to pop the balloon. I absolutely get her. When I was a child I was blowing a balloon and it exploded in my face giving me a big rash and burn for a whole day. I've been deathly afraid of balloons after that for so damn long and I hated popping balloons. I know the balloon fear might seem ridiculous because you can't really get a really serious injury from it, but at that time when I was a child I had a legitimate phobia and I felt absolute discomfort around them.
Grabbing it out of her hands, and throwing it on, the ground was wrong. Would I have done the same thing if I was truly terrified of something…. Absolutely yes !! But it’s still wrong so I see both sides.
I remember a simpler time where it was just my husband, me and my doctor - telling us via sonar. That was it. That was enough. All that mattered was hearing and seeing the heart beat and the doctor saying everything is going well. That was 13 and 12 years ago though. Maybe I'm just old fashioned boring vanilla.
i found out through blood tests early in pregnancy and got an e-mail from my doctor saying if i was having a boy or a girl with my pregnancies. So i guess i'm not old fashioned, but i got to know the sex of my babies at just 10 weeks gestation.
My little sister just had her baby literally 2 days ago. She was in labor for 19 hours. She had a boy. You wanna know how she told us? She sat us down and said “IM HAVING A BOY”! (I put it in all caps because she was excited/yelling it). Boom. Cheap, easy, non alligator involved gender reveal. My nephew was born healthy, 8 pounds 9 ounces!
Wait…you guys didn’t burn a forest down? 😉 But seriously…just saying it/screaming it…that’s how you do it. Congratulations to your new family member/nephew.
I popped a balloon inside our home for our family. 🤷🏼♀️ it was fun and theatrics-free. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a tasteful party for your family. We all had a good time. He was the first grandkid on my side and the first boy (after 5 girls) on my husband’s. We just found out from the doctor 🤷🏼♀️
This just reminds me of how my mom told me she used to know a lady who said ''If I even have a son I will kill him, I only accept daughters in my family.'' and she was 100% dead serious. Thankfully she got 2 daughters.
That’s disturbing, why is she still having kids and not in a mental asylum? She’ll be dangerous around any guy her daughters date or become friends with🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I typically don't like gender reveals, and this video explains it, they are too intense! What ever happened to just telling your family on a call, message, or in person without doing these crazy things?
fr! my polish aunt announced hers to us by a phone call while we were in the car on our way back from Poland after seeing our family including her, and she told us it was a girl! we congratulated her and voila!
My sociology teacher was having a baby and she told us ,that she doesn't wanna find out the gender of the baby as she thinks its a nice surprise either way, as it's a win win situation boy or a girl both of them are good. As long as they are healthy.
I always thought gender reveals were pointless, any baby shower I’ve been too just decorate it blue or pink, even baby shower invitations will say if it’s a boy or a girl, why do people have to go to the extremes, like whenever I have kids I will have a baby shower or just take a picture for Instagram telling my friends and family what the baby is, like people really do have more money than brains and it shows.
@@Layze I'm so sorry my dude I've been using audio text because I got stitches in my right hands I'm so sorry I didn't even proofread it I'm so fucking stupid sorry lazyze🤭 I'm so stupid dumnass and embarrassed
My parents never knew if i was a girl or a boy until i was born. And they were yet still happy seeing my crying face even without knowing my gender until i came out into this world,🎉🎉🥰
Yes, that is how I had my children in the eighties. All parents really wanted was a healthy baby. Now those are rare. I wonder if that has anything to do with all these unnecessary ultrasounds and vaccines.
4:08 That's so anticlimactic. All those games, only for some people to enter with pink lights. And those people were fvcking random, I was expecting them to atleast dance or perform some intermission, but wtf, they were just being chaotic.
What happened to it just being normal? Like popping the balloon, or cutting the cake, or serving cupcakes in the color, or the little baby shower games, or popping the popper, I don't believe that these people really be getting the wrong poppers, it says exactly what the color is
Don’t forget the gender reveal part where the couple hired a pilot for the gender reveal thing and as he or she lit out the smoke or something, the pilot suddenly passed while on the plane and then the plane crashed while everyone was still cheering ( P.S. I don’t how the pilot dead maybe he/she was old or there was some deadly chemicals but really I don’t know)
7:38 🙁this can't be happening.. seriously she get sad because it was gonna be a girl, imagine if it was really gonna be a girl, i would be sad if i see my mother sad cause i didn't was gonna be a boy, at the end is a boy, but that is really sad
What's sad about the boy getting hyped up with his friends is that he cared more about his friends then the women carrying the child that will call him dad. (If she doesn't file like divorce like i would've done)
Exactly, they don’t even care about the actual wife who is going to give birth to the baby nor the baby its self, they just care about their friend in a gender reveal party like its some bar inside with the football world cup is going on And they even had the audacity to shove her from the actual husband and was forced to take 101 pictures for them giant herd and none from the wife which doesn’t even have 1 like the whole party wasn’t for her and the baby and only the husband
To all the dads that are acting so overly hyped over having I boy I just wish that their sons turn out to be super gender nonconforming and that their favorite color will be pink and that they hate sports
8:12 she might be sad because shes afraid of seeing herself in her daughter. doubt its this, but its always a possibility. my mom cried when she found out i was a girl because she was afraid of me ending up like her, its a struggle that sits in the back of alot of mothers minds. yet again, she might have just been a bitch
As the oldest daughter, there was a 4 year age gap between me and my brother. When I was 4, I didn't have one on one time with my mom. She acted angry like the mom in the video. I never wanted another sibling. Maybe in the little girl's mind, if she pops this balloon, the baby will not happen. Thats how I felt when my mom was pregnant I had to grow up fast because of neglection after my brother was born. When my brother was 4, all he got were hugs and kisses.... and all my toys. Sorry for the trauma dump; I totally feel for that little girl. Layze, if you need a video idea, can you do a reaction video about Super Nanny? Most of the time, the kids look spoiled, but there is something more behind the cameras that shaped their behavior.
Having a baby is a great thing and I get people being excited to find out what they’re having, but I always thought gender reveals were just completely stupid and ridiculous. What happened to just finding out the gender like a normal person or even having your baby and being surprised. Gender reveals never used to be a thing.
It’s all for content. Parents try to outdo each other for this. Why? People usually scream for both genders. The most important thing is that the kid comes out healthy.
8:56 i personally find that cruel. Kids are just that kids. That girl looked no more than 10 and seems to have an irrational fear of balloons. So OF COURSE she's gonna act like that. Thats just how kids ARE
9:21 as a person that is very very very sernsitive to loud noises like popping baloons or fireworks i understand that girl. this baloon is huge and i would cry if i was being forced to pop that shit. not apologizing 😊
Why did they start these stupid gender reveal parties anyway? I’ve had 4 kids & not one gender reveal party. I just don’t understand spending the money on a party to reveal you babies gender instead of using that money for the things your baby is going to need. Maybe I just old fashioned but I think it’s a little ridiculous.
My gender reveal was getting the blood analysis and getting a text from my obgyn office in the afternoon saying “it’s a girl, congrats. See you next week for your ultrasound”
Funny little story: my parents never did partys and just went to the doctor and found out. Well when my mom was pregnant with me, the nurse came in and asked "so do you wanna know the gender of the baby" my parents said yes. She leaves, then the doctor comes in and says "so i heared you wanna keep the gender a secret". Before my dad could say something, my mom being too nice stopped him so the nurse wouldnt get fired. Icing on the cake for this story is everyone thought i was gonna be a boy and i pop out a girl 😊
@@kiko7247 my mom thought she might've been new and didn't want to risk her getting fired so she told my dad to stay quite cuz 'we'll find out when the baby's born anyway'
I am so glad I found your channel! I've been watching all your videos and you are absolutely hilarious! I appreciate you and thanks for working hard to put out great content.
I could just feel in my heart what my baby's gender was, when I was only 6 weeks pregnant. Of course the odds were stacked in my favor🤣. 50-50 chance, lol.
In my country gender reveal is not a thing, they always so nonchalant to what gender is the baby came out to be, we just "My last check up it says boy" and then they born to be girl and just "Lol, okay" I mean, what the point? Even if they bought 'boy color' baby clothes in advance, baby girl could wear it and just 5 month later they won't even fit anymore What the point?
8:57 - I see a kid who 8is so overstimulated and emotional with everyone yelling and laughing and parents giving her instructions and it would be disorientating for me no wonder she glitched out and was like no
My gender reveal was just me going for an ultrasound alone to find out and went home and called the important people and posted it on fb after. It was simple and easy no parties, no attempted murders and no forest fires involved. Lets go back to that. Lol
I have never understood exactly why people feel the need to make a ceremony for EVERYTHING! I have especially never understood why people do gender reveal party's and then turn around and have a baby shower. If anything, why not just do both at the same time? That crap gets expensive and it makes zero sense for people to spend so much money out of pocket BEFORE the baby is born. Do they not realize how expensive it is to have a baby? Save that money for when the baby is born
People take themselves too seriously. Not that many people really care, as long as the baby is healthy. This little bundle of joy is going to be a terror, in 12 short months. Sticky furniture, hand prints everywhere, a bizarre odor you can never track down and tether cookies behind the sofa, good luck with that. Lol Surprise! It’s a kid. 😂😂😂
I will have some compassion with the child not wanting to pop the balloon. To this day, I wouldn’t be capable (or maybe barely) of doing it either and I hate when people pop balloons because of how overwhelming their explosions are to me (and surely to many other people as well).
Ok.. some kids are afraid of the sound of balloons popping tho, like ptsd or something i forgot but it can scare a lot of kids, even some adults, you shouldn't force a kid to pop a balloon, kids have sensitive ears anyways, it would hurt their ears being so close 😭
*Mommy Layze casually pushes child Layzes head underwater* IM SOBBING WHY WAS THAT SO FUNNY also; I'm 5ish months pregnant and going to hold a gender reveal but its just gonna be like inside and like a cake full of the frosting color thats the babys gender
I'm 17 months pregnant and were going to find out the gender in a couple weeks! so exited!!!☺ i'm supposed to have an early delivery at 25 months so i'm praying for a healthy baby🥺
This is why i dont socialize with people any longer or go if i get invited, they just demand gifts all the time for stupid boring parties, they throw parties for everything nowadays it's riddiculous. If i ever have a party i wouldnt want to pressure ppl bringing any gifts, specially in this economy. Make a simple party, keep it simple, kets see how many real friends would show up for simplicity lol
the thing is the one at around 8:47 that little kids is one out of two options: 1, could be due to phonophobia/Globophobia irrational fear of loud noises or it could be fear of balloons. 2, it could possibly be just a spoiled brat. both are likely so like yeah :/
Let me give option 3) she already dislikes the sibiiling because everyday her parents are focused on the incoming child and she can't take it anymore lol
Anyone else just randomly found this guy but now loves him I found him 5 weeks ago and I cannot stop watching him It’s 6am and I have been watching his videos for 3 hours straight now! 😭
Its new, when i was pregnant some 30 years ago, nobody was to know the gender and whats the name was gonne be, now they tell evrything to the whole world.
Oh my God for real yay me and my cat were playing and then this popped up and she's so excited too thanks my dude we love you so much you are such amazing RU-vidr and therapist! Zoey says hiiii to stormy!
I like those gender reveals that are funny like that one when the lady just snatches her weave and under that is temporary dyed hair that’s a masterpiece
My daughter was absolutely terrified of balloons when she was little. It was because they pop really loud. So, even if balloons didnt pop, she hated them for their pop potential. She wasn't spoiled, she just had a lot of genuine noise fears. Needless to say, birthday parties were no-go's. And july 4. And dogs. And public toilets.
