The Ducks are on their way to becoming a national champion within the next 5 years, maybe even this year with some luck. But the combination of Lanning, NIL, and Phil Knight all point to a level up in player quality for the Ducks for the foreseeable future. Lanning is the best young coach available with no reason to leave. With Knight’s continued support the Ducks will attract the best talent in the country to the best facilities, best environment, best innovation, and best coaching. It’s only a matter of time and circumstances before that all pays off. Go Ducks!🦆🦆🦆
Michigan and Washington will be down a bit this year so those are wins, not terribly worried about Wisconsin, they do not play Penn St and they have Ohio St at home so a win, 12-0. If Penn St makes the Big Ten title game that is a win on a neutral field for Oregon, if its a rematch with Ohio St that will be really tough beating them twice, regardless they will be in the playoffs as a high seed. Oregon's greatest weakness is Lanning's penchant for gambling when he should not, take the extra points Dan and you would not be losing all those games to Washington.
Hindsight is 20/20. CK did it all the time and he was labeled as a genius for it. Point is, had some of those gambles worked, he’d be labeled in the same light. It’s easy to say he made a mistake after the play failed.
@jimedick9496 Ohio State has a better roster at some of the skill positions. Howard is a decent qb but not nearly what Gabriel is. Oregon is a lot better on the offensive line. The defensive lines are comparable. I think the big difference will be Oregon's offensive line bulldozing the tOSU dline just like the last matchup. The bigger difference is Oregon didn't have receiver talent last matchup. They now have 2 top10 WR's and 2 more 5*s, 3 great TE's and an OC who knows how to use them. I think you are over estimating how hard it is to win at Autzen stadium.
@@jefferylorsung8846 OSU O line top 10. comparing teams from a few years ago is a joke...OSU has the best D in the country. U can argue WR rooms, but its close. OSU better RBs by far. Bottom line, Oregon gunna lose
@@TonyLauLetta OSUs oline is top10, Oregon's is top2. OSU's same rush defense got murked by Michigan last year. "Top defense" is a farce. 3 teams in the B10 had above average offenses last year. Oregon had a top 10 scoring defense in a league with half of the top10 offenses in it... I do think they will be good games and Oregon could lose. I wouldn't be cocky if I was an OSU fan right now. Come October you could win but there is also a good chance you go down early and the crowd gets into it and you lose by double digits.
The Ducks lost by 3 twice last year, both to the national runner-up, neither at Autzen. They are capable of beating the Buckeyes at Autzen, and both Michigan and Wisconsin on the road this season. Oregon has been in THE big game twice and lost both in close games. That is too small a sample to say they CAN’T win the big games. If you include other big games, they have won plenty. Get over it, and let’s see what happens.
Huskies don't get bragging rights back until they win 12 straight against us like we did them. The Mutts won three, congrats. They've literally never won more than that in a row in the history of our rivalry and it's not gonna change now.
No one is noticing? everyone is noticing they are trying to buy a team. Hasn't worked anywhere yet. Mercenaries are always only fighting for themselves.
Yes he was basically asked if he was interested, he worked for Saban who loved him, he is a recruiting monster, look at their recruiting ranking this year #3 and they are not done, they have gone head to head for four top players this year with Ohio St and won all four. Also are you twelve? spell out your words son.
