For what its worth, people forget the Eagles have Isiah Rodgers at CB from Colts just waiting to go too, who was suspended for gambling last year. But when starting he was very solid for them.

Brian Johnson's offense was straight high school level. Adding Moore was big. But his offense does tend to be pass happy. He needs to adapt it to run Barkley more.

Although it is concerning that Moore runs more pass heavy plays what makes me not as concerned is that Kellen Moore has not had such a Allstar roster with this much talent and weapons on the offense. He’ll adapt and use his weapons very wisely and make us dangerous I believe. He made the cowboys have the number one and 2 offense the last 2 years he was with the cowboys with Dak and Ceedee now imagine what it’s gonna look like with us.

He’s 27 with ankle problems since College & and a repaired ACL which he lost speed from. A lot of runs he has the past 2 years would have been a TD in 2018 when he was 21

When Barkley was a Giant, he had a subpar line and he was the only weapon worth anything in their lineup. So coordinators spent extra focus on him. He comes here and he will have a top tier line blocking for him, and defensive coordinators cannot take the same approach. He will be a problem next season while healthy.

I agree with you point of view but you have to remember lions trsde him to us because he couldn’t stay healthy now we could have use him more in the passing game . But the Knock on Swift is he don’t pass block penny didn’t even get a chance to play Kenny Gainwell is a great pass blocker . Swift did good with us . We got him paid for Saquon Barkley is just did him and mcm is in that same tier that’s an upgrade.

CJGJ played 3 games last year for the Lions. Dont get me wrong, Im pumped that he is back but calling his season with the Lions pretty solid is stretching it. Pretty solid 3 games maybe.

I know The NFL is all about passing these days. 3 , 4 , 5 WRs every play with all kinds of looks & motion. Etc ... If 2 rbs are draft in rnd 1 its a good year for them. Even if thats the way things are IMO Running the ball is like throwing body blows in a boxing match.You benefit tremendously by tiring the devense down. This is especially important for teams in the northeast with cold weather & snow

Need to firm up the middle of the field on defense. They were getting burned bad on quick slants and dig routes. And get rid of the sweeps and bubble screens on 2nd and short. Can't remember how many times they went from 2nd and 4 to 3rd and 9 getting caught behind the line.

....Swift was excellent, as explosive a runner as their is in the NFL but can still run with power...but in alot of games they got away from feeding him the ball and wouldnt you know it, those are the games we lost. His only downfall was pass blocking, the other team knew it was a pass when Gainwell came in the game.

Needs must tho, swift is useless at blocking. He gets bounced around by opposing defences. He’s a tricky guy who excels at run plays when he can get a head start and use footwork, but he gets absolutely destroyed if he takes a hit. Gainwell let’s on average half as many sacks through as swift just as an example. It’s either bring out Kenny or risk Jalen getting smashed cause swift is as strong as a piece of paper in the wind. He’s a good rb but he can’t block for shit.

Obviously our crumble began with letting up 42 or however many points to the 9rs, but when you think about high powered offenses the eagles held them and outscored them all with the exception of the ravens and 9rs. End of the season, yes one of the worst in the league. All season? Middle of the pack, leaning towards the top 16

We definitely didn’t have a bottom 5 defense in terms of quality of players but the poor coaching and the late season collapse definitely showed that they can play like a bottom five defense. Every team in the last couple months exposed our crippled secondary, d line can’t do it all. Def bottom five and I bleed green

I understand this enthuse about Barkley and you must say that he is better than Swift, but... Swift ran more yards last year in less attempts, he had more ypc and less fumble lost. And you can say that the Giants had terrible OL or Barkley had more TD and recieving yards, but Swift had brian noclue johnson! He faced one of the biggest threat, the incompetence of a coaching staff... and not just brian johnson. In the O# the Eagles had good WRs so brian johnson might thought that no need to pass to Swift or just the amazing screen passes. If we look a little deeper in the stats we can see that Swift had more broken tackles (18 vs 12) and less tackle loss (23 vs 38) or loss yards (-54 vs -80) So it is not that obvious that Barkley is better and Swift was not so good last season.

On the other hand, Barkley was running behind what was arguably the worst O-line in the league last year. Walter Payton would have to scratch and claw to gain 1,000 yards behind the traffic cones the Giants had up front.

Lol.. he was running behind the best run blocking line in football.. while the defense also had to worry about Brown, Smith and Goedert.. not to mention hurts running.. Barkley ran behind what might have been the worst run blocking line in football and Noone else for the defense to focus on.. the entire game plan was focused on stopping Barkley.. Barkley had to consistently break tackles in the backfield.. swift rarely got touched before he was 6 yards downfield already

He played really well with cj over the top for him and they're really good friends. I find it hard to believe a guy who was one of the best cbs in the league the yr before dropped off like that. I'd like to see give him another chance cause we got him the help over the top that he's succeeded with before. I agree it was awful last yr. But how much of was coaches not putting him in position to make plays. We do agree desai was one of the worst coordinators we have ever seen on defense. I'd like fangio see if he can help change that

I have to agree with the first comment because last year I literally watched the nfl referees rig the games we lost against Seattle when the referees rigged that game the nfl is a rigged sport that is just a FACT, they push the Dallas cowboy's every single year and I literally watched the nfl rig last years season to help the Dallas cowboy's again watch the games and you will see what I am talking about........but we will win because the nfl can't rig every season because then EVERYONE WILL KNOW AND THAT WILL MESS UP THEIR POCKETS IF THE FANS FIND OUT THAT THE NFL RIGS GAMES............JUST FACTS.........
