Hank the Cowboy was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania... a town you'd be hard pressed to ever find a cowboy in. What you will find however is a massive chocolate factory. Hank moved to Nashville after learning a few chords on the guitar with the determination of perhaps a cowboy, more likely a Hershey's chocolate CFO's child who never had to work a day in his life. His dream was to be the greatest country singer the 1970's ever produced... which he nearly achieved had his girlfriend's youngest son never stabbed him in the early morning hours that fateful 4th of July. While we certainly won't remember his music, there is a great lesson that all of us can learn from Hank's one and only recording that survived the house fire.
