That type of skating is not new and he isn't the only one doing it. I have seen it since the 80's. It's pure old school, when the skateboards were almost flat, but he brings back with style those forgotten tricks. I started skating in the middle of the 80's with a California Pro skateboard and a Santa Mónica Airlines. Later they started to be more concave and tricky. My respects!

The people I used to skate with thought it was silly, but I learned a lot of tricks from a hand/foot plant or a board grab at the front stoop of my childhood home on a deck with no wheels because there wasn’t any road nearby.

im gonna keep it honest. it's because it's 10 times easier. at least in the sense that u can do something that resembles something hard within a week of getting decent balance. the fact that he's stuck at it at least for long enough to stand out some is cool though. reminds me of mike vallely.
