I got one and installed it but I found it was pushing my doorframe out and after hanging from it came off. So I'm sending it back and getting the other kind. If you don't mind screwing up your door frame be my guess.
I would say it depends on : 1 : How good you set it up 2: How good the wall foundation 3: How tall is the ceiling from where you set it up 4: How much you weight.
I don't see how... Your face and upper chest will be going into your wall above your door at the upper position. Also, i wouldn't trust something like this for kipping/swinging.
Let me tell you something about this bar. It wiggles non-stop. Ordered it recently and it moves around/rotates even with those bits. I bought it bc it was one of the few long enough for my door, but overall it’s poorly engineered
This is what I've been looking for but do you think there's any chance of cracking drywall if I use it between two random spots on opposing walls (i.e., as opposed to inside a door frame)?
I don’t know about this brand specifically, but I got a no screw pull up bar like this for my bathroom, put it between two walls, and now I have about a foot long hole in my drywall to fix. I was worried about causing damage to the door frame and the instructions said it can work on walls, but I missed the part where it said solid walls like concrete. Long story short, it’s probably not the best option to put the bar between two walls made of drywall. I didn’t even use the bar yet… I was just tightening it so it would stay and the tension caused the drywall to break. 😅
@@IsitWorthit1 Yeh I beleive even in my council house door frame wouldn't handle it screwed it suprisingly the hanging pull up bar are good the door frame are just to small to do wide arm pull ups
@@Joshua.Anthonny you might be using it the wrong side or it’s not tight enough. I mentioned this on the video. It’s not suppose to turn if you use it on the right side
