Man you video was all over the place. I appreciate you saying you flash updated the Fob which allows it to be recognized to start the vehicle. I also saw the emergency tip of using the tip of the Fob while pressing the start. There is not much else to be done , which is why as much as these dealers charge for these vehicles a way to start them should be a part of the purchase package. It's ridiculous !!!!!

Where are you located because my 2017 Jeep GC is having the same issue but absolutely no power. They’ve determined it was the RFH module but it’s been a week. Why does it take so long if the truck is. With the Jeep service department? Do they know what they’re doing?

Got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, it was showing “Key Fog not Detected” and I was able to turn on the car pushing start with keyfog. A locksmith came home and try to reprogram a new key and erased all keys in process and now I don’t have any keys. Took my van to the Dealership and they made me pay 250$ for a new keyfog and they said there is something else wrong with the car. It’s being 2 months sitting on the dealer and they don’t even take a look on it.
I have a 2015 fob is not working ,mind you i have been telling the dealer for 3 or 4 years that my for wasnt working right .they kept replacing the batt. in fob, my fob batt. have been changed around 6 times both of them. one guy at the dealership said i must use my fob more than anyone else, that is not the case. Now I have it in the dealers and they say it may be the RF and i asked how much that is and he said around 800.00 . does that sound a little expensive to anyone?
I have a 20' dodge charger. One key fob works and the one i barely used stopped working. I changed the battery and it worked initially. Two weeks later it is dead again. I tried yet another battery and nothing. The emergency start does work with this key but nothing else works. Does this need to be reprogrammed?
Thank you. My 2015 Dodge Durango is throwing the P0513 Immobilizer code. Reprogrammed my original FOB and a new FOB. It will start but only run for a few seconds before it dies and the red security light keeps flashing. Can remote start with both FOBs and UConnect app, will run for about 15 seconds then dies. Now I have to get it towed to a mechanic to do the update and reprogram.
I have a 2016 Buick Regal. The car will only start if I return the fob to the transmitter pocket. I have gotten a replace battery message on the dash. But what are the chances of two fobs needing a battery replaced at the same time?
@@OnlineMechanicTips It was the batteries - BOTH fobs needed replacements. I had a 2005 Acura until 2016. I NEVER had to replace the battery. The guy at the battery store said that the batteries will last about 18 months whether it's used or not. Thanks for your help.

wow guy, that main signal come from the key module..It may be shorted, but that can be seen with a scan tool that can read those modules..Can you please subscribe to the channel, thanks
Any shop with a subscription with Chrysler and the proper scan tool can program it. No its not a DIY job..You need to verify if this even apply to your car first tho and your sys scanned, you may have fault codes in the computer. Please subscribe to the channel, thanks

Having a similar problem. Was away for a week, came back and key fob wouldn't allow me to unlock the car (had to use the key itself) once inside, car wouldn't start. Even after connecting jumper cables and getting power (radio, horn, windows etc,) car wouldn't start. Disconnected jumper cables, no power whatsoever. Any advice?
@@OnlineMechanicTips Yes, it was the dealer. They did all the tests and found nothing. I only used the one fob since getting it in 2014. When a new battery stopped working after a day or two, I tried the one in the cupboard. It didn't work so I got a new battery for that one. It worked for a day or so and then it stopped working. So, the dealer ordered a new fob and will program it. If that fails, they'll be tearing that truck apart to figure out why ALL of my electronics have been failing one after another. So far, every failure has been due to the factory NOT greasing the wiring.
I’m having issues with my key fob, it’s not detecting inside the vehicle in order to start my car but it’s working for unlocking/locking the car opening the trunk. Every once in a while it will detect the key and I’m able to start my vehicle. I changed the battery in the key fob already and I was wondering if anyone can help with this issue? The other day I was stranded for about an hour until the tow truck came and he suggested that he use cables on my front terminals in order to put my car in neutral and about 7-10 mins later after trying to start it a few times it finally detected the key fob and I was able to drive home. Anyone have insight on this issue?
@Sequoyah Allen yes my key fob shorted out.....long long long story short my push 2 start button shorted out my key so I have da key replaced n programmed n I was back on da road
Great video big guy I have a Lincoln mks 2011 and my remote starter used to work replaced the battery and etc the hood latch switch as well and the lock and unlock works fine but wen I push the the ford button 2x it just beeps but would not turn over do it need to be fixed with a scanner or anything diy job for me sorry for the long text

Hey bud, you basically caused the circuit board to split. Yea you likely need a key. As for as where to get done, sure, the dealer is an option but an expensive one. You can order keys but the catch will be getting it programmed.. Please thumbs up the video and subscribe to the channel, thanks

Hey bud, theres a conflict in your system. I can almost gaurantee there trouble codes in your RHF module thats used for diagnostics. Have you had it scanned? Also are you subscribed to the channel?
I’m having the same issue, but my next issue is that the computer is telling me to turn the vehicle on to install the flash update, fob won’t turn the vehicle on so it won’t receive the update

Reprogramming it not a DIY job. You need a high dollar scan tool for that. You can however get it done at your local dealer..Also you should get your skim module checked. You may need a skim module..This was an advice video. You cant do this stuff yourself

@@OnlineMechanicTips I recently purchased a tesla style 10.4 radio for my 2015 Grand Cherokee. Took it to the sound shop to install and long story short, they somehow caused the anti-theft to engage and rendered the key fob useless. They paid to have the truck towed to Jeep dealership. I am waiting to see what needs to be done as the codes state the connection was lost w/ key fob. I guess I'll have to sue the sound shop for the dealership cost for repairs. I would think that a sound shop would know to disconnect the anti-theft or some sort of work around. I should not be subject to keep the factory radio.

Thanks for watching bud but you obviously didnt watch the complete video..This not an instruction or solution video, I prefer the term, an advice video. The advice was merely for you to high tell it to a dealer and get your module re-programmed,,You likely looking for a DIY solution which likely do not exist being that this is an electrical module problem.
