When you switched to distortion, you created some riffs with real feeling and emotion; I don’t think that that is something possible on a Stratocaster or Flying V. I am in the market for buying a new guitar and my choices are either a left handed 7 string Schecter Stratocaster guitar or a left handed Slash Gibson Les Paul; you definitely settled my decision for me. Yeah, choices are few for us left handed players. Tom Sisson

The flying V is capable of that with PAF style pickups. The Gibson Explorer and Flying V are the most versatile guitars you can get

Everything is lately. Gibson Les Paul is another world. Yea their going to be pricey. Les Paul was a genius. Yep.

@@romanp.4319 of course they've got to be more expensive . The only problem we have in Europe is that the Les Paul std are not very good. They all have bad nuts or bad frets or poor wood quality etc etc...and for 2800 euros it's a shame from such a brand...that's why we buy alternative ones such as Eastman sb59 or Tokai or Maybach etc etc...
