Imagine your whole gimmick is to ram at someone to kill them, but then this little fly of a creature you can't seem to hit for whatever reason uses your very own trick on you, not only once, but hundreds of times. It doesn't even hurt that much at first, but the fact that this ant did this to you over and over and over... It must've added up to a lot of emotional damage before your untimely death, which is once again... from your very own technique.
I like that fight very much because of it tho, every time you get hit you know it's 100% your fault, he never does anything bullshitty unless something bugs out.
fun fact; back when i was still a newbie to infernum(like many months ago) i would do the same against yharon with the asgardian aegis, as i had the mindset that i should spend my brain power dodging him and his attacks rather than shooting him
Very impressive indeed, but this video should have one extra view. I was watching this one on my phone while out walking the DoG and we came across a squirrel sitting in a tiny tree in front of us, and thus it had the honor of (probably) being the first squirrel to see a Myra Terraria video and to listen to Universal Collapse.
Honestly surprised you didn’t use the ram dash upgrade that Calamity added. I would have thought that with the Elysian Aegis or whatever it was called would do a lot of damage. Still very, VERY impressive though. (Thanks for the idea to make myself go through hell by fighting DoG again! =3)
Hey does anyone know how to make the lasers look that good - I’m not sure if that’s just base infernum because I haven’t played in a while, but the phase 1 laser telegraphs look way better than I remember them looking in my playthrough
Hey @Myra Terraria, do you have any tips for running this fight as smoothly as in your video (I have a decent PC, not high end but decent nonetheless), or is it pure hardware power? Mine always lags out at the laser barrage attack on the second phase...
You can try reduce any options that requires a lot of resources to load like background, wave quality or heat distortion. Other than that might be pure hardware and how strong your pc is probably.
