Ok, I've seen that movie a million times, watched ER back in the day; did not know that was Noah Wyle. Just never put it together. I'm bad at puzzles too.
Absolutely. He was also the longest running character on the show. His growth from a know-nothing med student to the lead attending physician was fun to watch. I really loved the Africa scenes and his relationship with the beautiful Thandie Newton.

That's because people have an innate need to pigeon-hole people. Probably a part of our instinct for survival. The first time I shaved my head at age 35, folks were trying to figure out if I was chemo bald, gay bald, tough guy bald, etc. Had a few good friends ask if I was sick...ie...chemo bald. "I wouldn't have my freakin' eyebrows, ya goof!"
In addition to is courtroom scene where he talked about following the crowd at chow-time, etc.. He was also the humvee driver who took Kaffee, Weinberg and Jo to the base. He advised them to cover up their 'whites' in case one of the Cuban soldiers wanted to take a shot at an officer.
there was a few new guys on that set. The kid who played Dawson was just a production guy on Rob Reiner's crew... on a whim Rob told him to come in and audition for Dawson. he beat out Cuba Gooding, Morris Chestnut and a whole list of other names to get that part and never really acted before.

I can for some reason get it with the simple hair cut and people treating you different. I have a lot of honorable Veterans in my family so of course I always respect them. Now I'm not in the service but I know that you always respect the Marine Corp and those who serve. Some people for some reason with there simple demeanor they draw more respect. Of course I don't know Jack Nicholson or say Clint Eastwood but it's simply something about them that draws respect. I'm pretty sure that Clint Eastwood served which is very respectful. I think that Mr. Nicholson just has a personality that draws respect to him.
Never heard so many actors speak about another actor like they speak about Jack, I think if Jack and God turned up for the same part, God would be wasting his time, he would be outclassed P.S. Actually that is probably why Jack has lived so long despite all of his "bad habits" God knows when Jack gets to Heaven, he ain't gunna take second place, he will want to be God in heaven just like he was on Earth.....and what else can God do? he will be out of a Job and unqualified to do anything else, do they have "the dole" in heaven?
