He is a fantastic interview. I find him charming and funny and generous with information on all the interviews I've seen and heard. I like the new stuff and wish him well with solo career,
i found the latest single out very hygienic. I miss the dirty Noel sound. Drums are small and very American and very dry. His singing is also very standard in that track. I hope the rest is better, I already pre-ordered it.
Now Noel knows he doesn't need Liam or a band, I don't see how he has an incentive to go back. I still think Oasis will get together at some point, perhaps for charity, etc, or a big payday. But I can't see it being for a while.
F# going into Gminor would probably sound terrible, unless the song was in the key of D and you went from the Gminor up to Amajor before going back to the D again, in which case it would sound quite Beatle-esque
I think you totally misunderstand the mans humour. He is so blatantly working class in EVERYTHING he says and does. Honestly just think about it for a minute a guy who writes a song about being excited that him and his mates have enough Cigarettes and Alcohol to party with......... Tongue in cheek my friend....
