It’s the most oasisy song ever ! It’s fucking madforit. It smacks you across the chops waaatish! There ya go ! Rit across the chops and straight in ya ear hole. Hah can here the sex pistols in the guitar. Very British sounding with anarchy and joy riddled throughout the whole tune. Top fuckin sounds man
I agree. But watch the Whatever video and you can see how pleased he is to be with a real live orchestra. Well as much as you can see how pleased a Noel is :)
Atom Heart Father just playing devils advocate but I think it’s less “Liam’s fans” and more people who really liked noels rock n roll music and just don’t dig “cosmic pop” and neo-disco - not everyone who doesn’t like a direction or genre is a hater
@@TheNeutralViewFromSwedenAKAHer Yeah, same. Huge into my 70s/80s and 90s music. Not so much the music now. Love Oasis, u2, Radiohead, REM, Beatles etc.
The album was produced by David Holmes, he changed the way Noel worked. He said don't write anything before you come to the studio. They then sat down and talked about the music Noel grew up loving. Most of the album, "Who Built the Moon?" sounds like seventies. One of the tracks sounds like Blonde because David said to Noel, write a song as if you were writing it for Blonde. Each record sounds like it could be written for another band and that gives the album an edge. In a few decades people will be talking about their favourite albums of the past and this will be right up there, it will stand the tests of time where so many don't.
Prob my favourite NGHFB tune - upbeat, glammy, poppy, riffy, feel-good and rounded off with an addictive sample and brass section. Oasis reunion not necessary. NGHFB is the evolution of Noel and it's improved with each passing album. Legend.
Would agree, that this is a good tune and the first two solo albums where great but his sound has actually got worse since his third album. Have you heard his latest stuff? He sounds like the Pet Shop Boys. Terrible.
@@katoness i think he's just experimenting with that kind of music, you wouldn't want to hear the same old same old right? If he's doing the same kind of music over and over again its gonna be boring, plus im pretty sure he's gonna come back to his roots, i mean look at his newest single Come On Outside, there's a hint of rock n roll on it, his taking baby steps
OMFG - Love this! Can't wait to see this live This is gonna be awesome in arenas and stadiums and festivals. Get the blood rushing and the crowd jumpin. Fricking awesome :)
Saw him at York Hall on Wednesday, fantastic gig like. Scissor girl showed up aswell. Still not understanding that but I guess you gotta live in the heat of the moment.
