My ancient chain drive opener died after 43 years of service. It wasn't horribly loud, but the belt drive I have now is so quiet I don't hear it at all from my home office.

Other reasons to upgrade to new technology (with the Chamberlain that I installed): connects to wifi, can open or close, check status, and receive alerts from anywhere; has batter backup if A/C power goes out; is geared down so can lift heavy door with same size motor; exterior keypad and main keypad work better.

My question is do they sell quitter one im trying to figure out what brand my neighbor has we live in a duble duplex and the garages are next to each other when im outside i never hear the door open. But when im in the second floor of my place I can hear our like clear as day lol
