I was sad when we found out that foretellers are the new big bad. I really like them and want them to be on the good side! I love the idea of this being a redemption / rebellion type of story
Who knows if they ARE going to be the big bad. In my opinion, the real enemy is the Darkness. Yes, the foretellers are probably going to be used as vessels for them. But it's also possible that MoM may come up with another way to trap the darkness in a vulnerable host. Maybe tricking them into possessing a replica and destroying the replica. Or maybe convincing them to possess one of the seekers of darkness in the past, before the events of kh3. All this could just me being extremely addicted to copium, but I'm not convinced that MoM or the foretellers are the real bad guys of this next story arc.
I don't think the foretellers are going to be villains, but rather as antagonists and obstacles. Sora has been growing and maturing, and the story of Kingdom Hearts has been getting more nuanced and mature as he has. In KH1 Darkness was just an ambiguous force to fight against. By the end of KH2 the characters have accepted darkness must exist because light needs an opposite, and Riku had learned to make use of it. By KH3 the darkness has no sway over the guardians of light, Riku has developed a resistance to darkness and people ccan enter and leave the dark realm almost as they please, accepting it and the dangers that come with it. I personally think that KH4 will show Sora facing off against those so devoted to the light that any room for compassion, mercy, empathy and understanding will be hard won. We are dealing with a group of people who see darkness as an enemy to be destroyed, ignoring the fact that it is the shadows of the light they themselves cast.
There not gonna be the big bad. There antagonists with a different ideology both sides will be doing what they think is right and or what needs to be done.
here's the thing about the foretellers & the book of Prophecies & the No Name keyblade with the Master of Masters eye. MoM gave his No Name Keyblade with his eye to Luxu so the eye could see the future and he could rite the Book of Prophecies. the book of Prophecies details everything that is to come... there by making everyone do what's in the book because they've already done it... its a Destiny trap... once your a part of events you can't change them because you already did them! the thing about a Destiny Trap is its nigh impossible to get out of... but there is a way Sora got out of the Destiny trap! by being both in it and out of it at the same time!
But what *started* it though. Like if the Mom already had the book of prophecies, it’s because the things already happened in the book. Which make it real however. At what point in time we’re there was NO book an simply just no name an everything it sees happening. Which eventually creates the book in the end. That’s why I hate time loops or paradox it gets to confusing and convoluted an not making sense.
I think the purpose of the master setting up these events are because he's from the future too defy ones destiny is by changing the set past therefore altering the timeline how is that possible quadratum looks like the concept of time may not exist hence streliza looking the same age as she was before
@@LuckyUnderdog hmmmm I don't know about that... let's take Sleep & Death as being 2 sides of the same coin and use Ventus as an example. Ventus was asleep in Castle Oblivion for over a decade & didn't age, Strelitzia was dead and to this day we still don't know the exact reason for her being around still, my theory is she's the data version of Strelitzia brought to Quadratum a land of unreality where anything brought there becomes real where her data made her real... now I could be well off with that but as things are so light on detail it's all I have at this time.
I will say, I really like the idea of Ira and Invi turning out to be MORE fanatical and evil than Xigbar/Luxu. Something about the idea of Xigbar going "yo, you guys are going too far with this shit" just feels strange considering all we've seen from his character thus far.
I like the idea that Luxu will be something like whoever's more convenient for him to achieve his goals he'll side with them, making it sorta like a wild card bc he could be an ally on turn on us in an instant
Has anyone ever pointed out how Invi's whole design evokes the tree in the garden of Eden with the snake in its branches. Her tree keyblade and snake mask.
Aced was done dirty by the fanbase. People are comparing him to Terra and I just don't see it. He's actually trying to ask questions and fix things, but he lacked the tact or composure to pull it off. I really hope you're right and he joins Sora and the gang against the MoM! (Alongside Gula, Ava, and Luxu, preferably!)
Facts. The difference is Aced tried fixing things and prevent ruin, Terra only tried fixing things after he fucked people over and even then the people he screwed over had to save him 🤷 I said it.
@@TheHeartsDivergence Damn I imo Nomura kinda fumbled the ball with Terra and after hearing it from different kh youtubers I see why people don't like and even hate Terra Aced on the other hand I agree he was the one to outright reject and ask questions about the master and the in the end he was right.
Nomura's art has always in covers and key arts linked well to directionality of the characters. It makes me believe this art shows who will play key roles in certain new titles: KHIV: Most likely will consist of the majority who are facing fully forward, with Strelitzia being an exception. So key roles in this game will be related to The foretellers, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Strelitzia/Namine, the Disney trio and Elrena. Another title related to Skuld // Missing Link: Skuld, Lea, Xion, Brain, Ienzo, Lauriam and perhaps even Luxord will play a key role in evaluating Skuld's story or any relation to that of Missing Link. Perhaps we will get key information on everything that happened in Scala Ad Caelum and it's downfall. They all seem to facing left. One more title with Ephemer's return? I know you did a video on Ephemer's lingering will --> The BBS trio, Ephemer, Vexen, Demyx, Isa are all facing right, and perhaps Isa is trying to look for Skuld through him. Ephemer's heartless (Maybe Dark Inferno) may be linked to the realm of darkness, where the BBS trio headed out to! Terra especially is close to Ephemer, and his link to Eraqus and the Master's defender could make him a key role for this title. Demyx's past could be explored in Missing Link or perhaps he was present when Ephemer entered the world of Scala. I didn't really consider Xehanort as his saga is over, but he could be mentioned in KHIV. The Foretellers are a wild card in my head and maybe different ones will show up in different titles :) Just some thoughts I myself had from the art.
Agreed. With basically everything you said. I would like to also point out that Gula and Aced who dislike each other by the end of the story are opposites. Luxu and Ava who outright clash are also opposites. Either way it seems like all the foretellers might be going different ways when they finally start moving. With maybe Ira and Invi working together. It is a bit odd that Gula and Luxu are right next to each other. I would have expected Gula to be next to Ava. I do have to wonder if MoM is going to allow the foretellers to not follow him, or if he is going to need to outright replace some of them.
I actually think that in some insane twist that M.o.M will somehow convert Aced and Gula on to hes side fully. While on the other hand Ira and Invi will be disquareded since they are considered zealots by him, since he would see them as people who can't think for themselves making them easy targets to get possed or tricked by Darkness. Now what will happen in this twist to Master Ava will be unpredictable. Could either be that somehow she also gets back on track of whatever the M.o.M's plan is with Aced and Gula or she will come to despise him on how he treats actual loyal followers.
I assume all of this on him knowing that traitor is Luxu but doesn't care and considers him his right-hand man. Which shows the M.o.M has more of a preference for people who are actually against him than for him like a Shounen Protagonist.
Honestly you might be onto something, if anything Invi and Ira seem to be in huge danger either way. But Ira seems to atleast question things to some degree and is overthinking everything. Invi appears to be absolutely loyal. I guess we have to see how it plays out. Maybe it's all a facade.
No joke. I was in a discord convo when the image came out and that was the first thing I pointed out. Mind you, I already believe Ava is the Lost Master. I think she would oppose the plan to basically sacrifice people to defeat the willful darknesses, if they can be destroyed. I see her fighting back against the other foretellers and MOM. Her ideals don't mesh with the others zealotry. I wanted to spend an hour going over small details, but I didn't want to drive myself insane.
Even if some people and fantasy disrespect aced I've always some what respect him cause he questions everything and wanting to take the "darkness" that would be in daybreak town before it got destroyed I've understand gulas actions he also questions the mom and his intentions There's so that will happen in KH4 that it sometimes scares me Just think about aced and gula in battle Fighting sora and the others aced is a powerhouse of strength and gula is a powerhouse of speed
Something interesting I noticed from the image that you probably missed is where Luxu's face is directed, which is down compare to the rest of the lost masters who had their heads raised up. I'm also curious to why Nomura would also include Luxu and Xigbar together in the same art since its now well known now that they are one of the same even if Luxu using a different body. Food for thought.
I'm guessing the book of prophesies main objective was to project the worlds in the data world so that the unions could gather lux. The Master has definitely disappeared because he overused the power of waking which somehow connected to the book by using his eye to write the events of the future which reveals more about the power of waking in a more clear way. The final world is where souls go to "rest" but if they overuse the power of waking, they alter the course of fate and their destiny gets "unwritten" which would explain why they fade away from all three realms and fade back to unreality to a world that has different "rules" of existence. The master's plan is to trap the 13 original darknesses in real people so they can be destroys, or at least that's what he made Luxu believe. He probably is just using Luxu to bring him back and help him to harness the original most powerful darknesses for himself and recreate kingdom hearts.
Sora is in quatradum to wake up the others that are sleeping . To restore the worlds .luxu said the data world is different. And sora is the only one who can wake them
Question at 7:58 why does aced have the Masters eye on his keyblade like the no name keyblade is that how the master knows what his fortellers will do. Since he's "gone".
All the foretellers have the gazing eye somewhere on their keyblades. However, there isn't anything to show they are anything more than decoration. A lot of other keyblade wielders have the gazing eye as well.
something to note is that people have been speculating that kairi will become a master and seem to speculate that aqua will train her. This will likely be true but if ava realy wanted to hide and help others then what better place then hiding inside a princess of heart she has given the gift of keeping her powers. In otherwords then maby ava knows something about how the future can be seen that we dont and has been preparing for a while out of sight or even inside kari. I do hope ava turns out to be karis grandma and just to have kari be confused by meeting her younger grandma in the future. Also we have already seen with terra that just because it is that persons body you are seeing doenst mean it is them. Ava heart and others could be hiding elsewere
I guess I never really thought that some of these characters and their positions would be mirroring events, but I guess taking a second look does make it obvious. Obviously some are a little bit easier to pinpoint like the first you mentioned, but little things like Aqua and Kairi next to each other might mean what you say. In my case, I thought that having Mickey, Donald and Goofy all together was implying for a future game where Donald and Goofy join Mickey to explore through Scala. In regards to the foretellers, I just assumed it was a stylistic choice, but if they are going to be the big baddies in the next arc, then I guess it makes sense. Although, I never really saw them as villains, so I'm interested to see why there will be playing as antagonists, so only time will tell. I definitely switched sides the more I played the game. I first started out with Gula just cuz I liked the Leopard, but he always felt like he had to work alone and I didn't think that was smart. Then I thought that the proper Union to be with would be Ava's since the Dandelions got to survive and we're the future light, but honestly, knowing what I know now, I would probably join Aced and work with him to try and stop the Keyblade War! I'm definitely excited for more Kingdom Hearts 4 trailers and I'll probably keep playing a couple of Kingdom Hearts games as we progress to a possible release date. Heck, I just did a 0.2 Playthrough for the 20th anniversary, so who knows when I'll finally be able to sit down and play the Re;mind DLC.
Everyone I found out kh4 is not the last game I checked the wiki and I found this kingdom hearts 5 is a 2026 action roleplaying game developed by square enix and published by disney interactive studios it is a sequel to 2025s kingdom hearts 4.5 keyblade war and the 5th installment to 2002s kingdom hearts it is scheduled to be released on June 14 2026
Hey, I was curious, I have not seen any theories anywhere for this as of yet, but maybe I am not looking hard enough. Do you have a theory or an explanation as to why Olympus is a constant world through out KH? Its the ONLY disney world that is in EVERY KH game. I am sure Nomura does this intentionally but I cannot for the life of me, figure out why. I dont think its just because he likes the world, it has to have deeper reasoning in my opinion. Let me know what you think. By the way if I was wrong with Boondocks, I would move to Samurai Shamploo for the art style. Probably still a reach as I dont know a lot of art styles, but I know KH and One Piece lol.
Another thing I'm only now noticing is Demyx not being on the same side as those with an "ancient keyblade legacy" like Xemnas implied. Instead, Luxu is in that spot.
On top of that, The Union X leaders are positioned in a diagonal, leading into Marluxia. The Sea-Salt trio + Namine are diagonal as well, leading into Saix, who's looking up at them enviously. Nomura the madlad.

Out of all the foretellers aced was my favorite and I hate that people always gaslight him or try to make it seem like he is wrong. He may come off as harsh but really its just tough love and he was right. Ira had no business being the leader
I think people have become overzealous for "balance good" stance that they forget why some dudes and dudettes had their anti-darkness positions in the first place. Eraqus lapsed in the end but he had too many reasons to be aware of darkness.
Ther is amoment wher she locks at a dandilion and opens her mouth in Stock. I belive that takes place after her fight with Luxu and she relised what hevtold her about the Master plan was true
I think you’re getting the book of prophecies and the guidebook mixed up. Ephemer was the one mean’t to have the book of prophecies, not Strelitzia. Strelitzia was just given a guidebook in which Ven, who was possessed by darkness stole it from her. Not really sure where you got the idea that Strelitzia was supposed to have the book of prophecies.
According to Brain, Strelitzia's name is circled to get the copy of the Book. She's dead, or Ava acted differently, so the copy and the namelist goes to Brain. Brain gave the Book and his keyblade (Master's Defender) to Ephemer in data Daybreak before Brain used the lifeboat to get back in real time. What Ventus took was Strelitzia's rulebook.

I appreciate it. Edit: I rewatched the scene where Brain hands over Master Defender and the book of prophecies over to Ephemer and he openly says that they were always meant for Ephemer to have.
Does anyone even know Why The Foretellers are going to just suddenly become Evil? The entire time I went through Union Cross I just got the impression that they were a bunch of former students of The Master driven apart because of his bigger Chess Game involving tricking and defeating 'The Darkness entities.' Namely driven apart via only getting part of their 'parts to play' and not being privy to the Big Picture for good reason.

I was always sad that majority of people chose Vulpes in union x. 😪 I prefer being in the minority groups, and only chose Vulpes because I like pink, yellow, and foxes lol....
