Completely agree with this! I love a tint option for an all in 1 product. I don’t typically wear foundation because it always makes my skin worse so I opt for tinted sunscreens or bb creams for a easy application and less irritation. PLEASE!!

My favourite is Nars, the Nars Light reflecting is my holy grail and it seems noncomedogenic. I also love the Nars and Rare Beauty Tinted moisturisers, and the Makeup Forever new powder foundation which is the best powder foundation I ever tried, doesn’t break me out and also not dry my skin.

Yes, please! Foundation to help treat acne would be great. My hyperpigmentation is sooooo much better after a month of using the facial kit, but still have to get dolled up for work. But with foundation everyday - all day - the acne fights back and it’s just a vicious cycle. So, yes! And with a shade range to cater for your whole SOC family please ❤ from Zambia🇿🇲

Yes. Do it! And make sure it’s not just dealing with oil prone skin. I’m normal to dry and have acne and hate most matte style foundations. I’m up in age and matte foundations obviate wrinkles in my face

YES for foundation for acne-prone skin. I’m white (scandinavian) but i tan very easily and get melasma and post inflammatory redness. I love your channel and your tips work great for me too even though i’m not your target audience. I also hope you could design anti-melasma sunglasses with option for prescription lenses! :)

Hi Dr. V. I would absolutely love it if you could make a foundation for oily/acne prone skin that offers great coverage and treats hyperpigmentation. Would also love it if the foundation was close to being as sweat and transfer resistant as possible as I work in the NHS and am continuing to wear face masks. I’m obsessed with testing new foundations, that’s why I’m always looking forward to new launches, however most of the times I get disappointed whether about the shade being wrong or the performance of the product itself. Lately I’ve been using LR from NARS in the shade Tahoe and the result is fantastic every single time. Obviously, my skin gets oily throughout the day, which is completely normal, but the shade itself and the fact that the foundation feels like skincare amazes me! I never get a pimple after using the Light Reflecting foundation and I’m very happy to have finally found a great foundation for me. I’ve tried many of the foundations mentioned in the video, both the shade and performance + the comedogenic factor have made me want to stick to the one from NARS. Thank you so much for this video Dr. V! I appreciate you and I respect and believe in your work. ❤

Yes! The only foundation I have found that isn't horrible for my oily acne prone skin has been clinique even better clinical serum foundation. It has salicylic acid, hyloronic acid, and vitamin C. It's oil free and claims to be non comedogenic. Since using it, I have had no issues. Other than that, I haven't found any others.

Yes! I don’t have active acne all the time. But I’m very sensitive and I’m super careful not to trigger it. If you could do a foundation for acne prone skins, that is not dewy, with skin care👌🏼

Whilst I love your products and passion for possibly creating a foundation ….I have reservations . I’m 56 years old and of Caribbean Indian descent . I’ve tried practically every single brand of make up and I don’t think anyone has gotten the shades right for I Asian skin tones . They are either too orange , too pink , too grey ,too white cast and too yellow . ….I’ve tried them all . Producing a foundation just to sell on line will be a nightmare for returns when the shades are not right . However , if you plan to make then and sell them in a shop that’s different but I know your stance or saving the consumer money . If you do consider making it , please consider me to test the colours 😊

I have very oily sensitive skin especially in summer i got rid of my hormonal acne after finishing my accutane course and my skin was doing great until I started to wear my sephora makeup buys everyday at work and bam pimples popped everywhere on my skin !! sometimes when i wear a certain new concealer/products by the time i reach home and remove my makeup i discover a huge painful pimple on exact spots where i applied those products that time i knew i can’t buy or wear whatever makeup cuz I’m prone to breakouts,I’m surprised you’re the only dermatologist who brought and talked about ingredients in foundations which may clog pores and cause breakouts really appreciate but those foundations you approved i feel like would not suit my oily skin I want something which control oil and shine I recently bought mac studio fix fluid it’s described as suitable for acne prone skin but the shade range doesn’t match me so well nw range suites me better but they tend to look bit orangy not true to my neutral skin tone /the new n range is not in stock at my local mac stores unfortunately however i wore that foundation for whole day and it didn’t break me out or irritate my pimples just wish they had shade range as sephora foundations

Yes please to foundation that cover marks AND treat acne! Literally trying to find one. I find new bumps every day after having makeup on the whole day at work. And i’ve gone through enough different foundations to know that this happens across different brands. I’m so over spending money for something that I hoped would be different but end up disappointed every time 😢

Excellent video as usual. A bit of History: I often hear my fellow ladies of color say that Fenty Beauty is the first to offer darker shades, but actually Iman Cosmetics was the first to create a makeup line for darker skin tones in 1994. Fenty expanded on the number of available shades.

Hi, Dr. V.! Please review foundations from Mac, Urban Decay and the so famous skin tints, please. Also, I'd love to see a value size of your sunscreen. The current size bottle doesn't last long enough for a family and it can get pricey to buy one bottle for each every time. Hi Dr. V, I personally think that this is a GREAT idea. I do NOT have ACNE but I'm currently using Haus Labs Triclone Skin foundation by Lady GAGA which has skincare ingredients within this BEAUTIFUL foundation that I LOVE! FYI...I purchase ALL of my skincare products based on your recommendations. I would LOVE to try YOUR products, however, the S&H is very EXPENSIVE and I do NOT want to be in a position of running out of a product and having to wait for WEEKS for it to arrive in the USA. Thank you SO much for creating a Video Library!
