I'm forever mad that the MV version of Psycho is different from all the released & streamed versions. The MV version has more synths & instrumental, sounds so much fuller & beautiful.
Yes ! Honestly I can’t wrap my head around how stupid of a decision it was for them to change it… especially seeing the reasons they gave ! Like they basically just made it more bland.
@@dmitri9803 Ikr, it's ironic that they changed it because they thought it would be too strong or overbearing for listeners but people actually ended up liking the mv version more
@@bhblanks5517 Yes, you’re right I feel like I’ve seen quite a few people having negative opinions towards that choice ! It will forever be a mystery for me.
I just cant get it how feel my rhythm isnt in any best kpop releases 2022. Like are they deaf? Fmr is one the best releases kpop hasn’t seen in recent years
As a music producer i think you're going to like Red Velvet's music, they're a producers' favorite. They're known for having a top tier discography and phenomenal production quality, plus heavenly vocals and harmonies Also, yes R&B and Hiphop are a big part of their sound
You've just stumbled upon the most beautiful, talented, diverse and creative girl-group in all of Kpop. Congratulations. 👍 RV is top-tier, that's pretty much all you need to know.
You got the full spectrum of Red Velvet with these 3 songs Birthday is pretty red, reddest they have been since Rookie, and then you have Psycho which stands very far in the velvet side and the Feel My Rhythm which is right in the middle imo. But there's so much more in between 😭
Yes RED VELVET. Might not be the most popular, might not be the highest selling. But for sure they are favourites among producers, music critics. Their discography one of the top tier. High level quality production, very diverse group, they basically can do many things. I can assure most of their side tracks are crazy good.
Red Velvet happily has the best vocalists, harmonies and craziest concepts. They are both complicated, and simple. Plus, they are beautiful to look at.
Thank you for reacting to RV! They’re actually quite known for doing R&B influenced songs as well as a bunch of other genres lol. They’re one of the groups that do a few more experimental sounds so there’s always something different to listen to with them. Their style may vary but their vocals are always the highlight, probably one of the strongest K-pop groups vocally. I hope you react to more of their songs, specifically their b-sides because that’s where they really shine!
Producers be like, let's put and mix bunch of random shit in there and let Red Velvet just do their thing lol. The sounds that seemingly won't work together just works if it's red velvet. Powerful queens. Edit: wait till you hear zimzalabim 😎
More videos like this. Red Velvet is truly incredibly talented. I love them so much. Thank you so doing this and acknowledging their talent. I hope people see their talent more and love them.
Thank you for reacting to Red Velvet. As fans, we hope you can listen to their b-side tracks as well. Their whole discography is an adventure! I subscribed immediately to this channel.
I love how a person who knows production and music understands the concept and music of Red Velvet. if you became a fan of red velvet listening to Birthday... that speaks a lot about your taste of music!!! Birthday is a great song but not a lot of ppl are getting it!
Thank you for reacting to Red Velvet! For interesting production, you should check out Ice Cream Cake, Zimzalabim, Peekaboo, and for a more RnB feel, Bad Boy is great. Those are just some of the title tracks, but their b-sides are even stronger!
I'm glad you checked out TWICE and Red Velvet. I know you already love BP, so it's nice to see you appreciate these other two groups. They ruled KPOP GGs because they have their unique thing going on. BP is swag, hard hitting beats, cool raps. TWICE hops pop subgenres, sleek production, with a happy, commercial core. Red Velvet is arty and lush, quirky, superb vocal harmonies, keeps one on edge. In every release they maintain their respective core identities but push the boundaries. 3rd gen KPOP girlie's are a gem. I hope you find time to check out GFRIEND and Mamamoo too. They're also great groups from the same generation, and also have their unique thing going on.
Just putting it out there that the MV version of Psycho is the compelling one. When you listen to it elsewhere, the strings in the chorus and prechorus aren't there so it sounds empty
check out their Birthday recording behind the scenes. You can hear how they made that backing vocals. It's was just satisfying. Hands down to them and to the music producers.
Exactly! Just saw a video which a Korean producer reacted to SM boy groups vocal and he was saying that SM’s vocal is out of this world and has a very distinct sound making them well known to Korean producers.
Red Velvet is so much fun guys, like you'll always get something new, yeah sometimes maybe you're not into it but It will growin as you listen it more time
For Feel My Rhythm, the strings or the backup track you were talking about were heavily inspired (idk if I could use this term?) from Sebastian Bach's Air on the G String! These two songs are indeed masterpieces. :D
red velvet has one of the best discographies in the entire kpop industry, and without a doubt the quality of each of their songs is incredible, I'm happy you liked them as much as thousands of us, great video dude!
Music Producers always will have enough content to talk about when they're reacting to Red Velvet's title tracks bcoz of how damn well produced they are :)... I bet you'll be out-of-words when you react to their b-sides on their albums especially 'The Red' , 'Russian Roulette' 'The ReVe Festival compilation' (2019) albums :)
Red Velvet’s producers use harmonies and descants like no other contemporary group. (Except maybe Mamamoo….) The vocal arrangements are always intriguing, and the production is captivating. Their company, SM, is known for top tier vocals and production - Red Velvet is prototypical SM. Varied concepts and always creative.
they never repeat a concept and I think that is what makes them so special. Their music team is never shy to experiment and introduce the group with new sounds
If you're unfamiliar with RV you should know that they perpetually experiment with new ideas and modes. You absolutely can never know what to expect. It's part of their charm. That and the phenomenal vocals.
I'm so glad you reacted to RV.. they have so much more to offer in their B sides! Pls pls also check out Aespa's Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage and Girls!!!!
Red Velvet is really incredibly talented.. and it is because of that the company gives them all kinds of concept and can slay.. the only thing is their songs are sometimes a hit or miss with every comeback. I personally love that they are versatile and diverse! If you appreciate quality and discography then RV is truly the one you should spend time exploring!
