I understand your feelings. I never listened to rap until Tom. HIs music and his messages overwhelm me at times. Keep listening to Tom. He's amazing. He strikes at the chords of so many. Keep doing your reviews.

Tom story is out of this world, fully independent, has no record label, his girlfriend is a boss who does all the videos, he lived in the poorest neighborhood in south central Los Angeles, was an addict and became sober, dude walks and talks it all, his catelog is crazy, politics. Sobriety, everything, but he always has hidden messages u have to pay attention to , anyway enjoy the journey, in my humble opinion he’s the most underated music artist in the entire industry right now, and the media silenced him ,

I feel you sis! It's his words. I grew up with rap/rock/pop and other things, turned metalhead and now i love almost every genre of music. I tend to not watch Tom McDonald, cause it fuels the rage even more that i have towards governments and elites! For the past 3 years i've been called a "right extremist", while i've always been on the left... Your tears as sad as they are, remind my why i'm fighting against all of this!!! What everyone might think, i care about you, your family, your friends and every other person in the world!

Growing up, I used to listen to rap but only because I liked the beat. I never really paid attention to the words. Now, I ONLY listen to Tom, and I pay attention to the words first then the beat second. Rap, used to be about words. Then they lost their way and focused on the beat. Tom is bringing words back to rap. Hands down the best artist out there today!

The reason this makes you cry is because you recognize the truth. We've all been played by the system. I thought I would live and die never liking rap, but Tom MacDonald is different. He's even caught the ear of those of us who are over 60 who grew up on wonderful music and hated rap.
