MY GUY CHEZ IS BACK!!! Missed you bro! Aye I finally upgraded from my mentors truck and I’m solo now and just finished my third load here in morehead Kentucky! You was so right man in that message you sent me it does get a little better once I get off my mentors truck. Man I’m so happy you uploaded a new video. Stay safe Chez and thank you for the advice! You a real one 💪🏽💯
Dude, when ur having those bad times u got to record and share with us. Us new drivers want to see what can come up. Makes for good content as well. We learn from what you experience.
Hey Bud, fan Base growing not only cause we appreciate the content but also because we can relate to what hard times and how you navigate through challenges…. Let us know you are well HERMANO
Chez: “Stay tuned for my next video” *2 months later* Me: “still patiently waiting”😆 I love your videos!!!! You literally got me back into truck driving & to go chase my goals. Such an inspiration! You’re awesome xo
Saw on his instagram “Chez” passed away, did a simple search but cant confirm. Anyone else heard anything. His were the first truck vlogs i watched and took interest in this career.
Hey chez I’ve seen all your vids and I am practicing to take my clp rn and trying to watch as many walk around videos as I can so I can be ready for my test at swift I start the virtual classes may 2 I am excited to start trucking you are definitely one of my inspirations for trucking I can’t wait Ik swift isn’t the ideal trucking company but it’s somewhere to get experience I’ve been rewatching ur swift school videos to ease my nerves lmaoo stay safe out there G
Hey Chez! I'm in high school right now in New York and my dream is to be a owner operator! Your videos gives me a good idea on how trucking is! I really appreciate you!
Good to see you back! Just finished my first year at Swift, and you’re right, all these smaller companies will hire you right away, work with whatever schedule you want, and pay you more. I’m lucky too because there’s a lot of companies where I live, and not a lot of drivers, especially drivers with their endorsements, so yeah, there’s some serious options here in Ventura County.
@@chez8239 …and you live in Carson, bro. You don’t gotta be OTR to get paid. See if there’s a FedEx GSC hiring around you. You can do overnight line haul, or weekly dedicated and make $100K, easy.
My bro i feel like since you a new driver it's good to experience these things now then when you older The more experiences under the belt the better you will have more mechanical knowledge of how to repair minor tlc and proper diagnosis issues beforehand, you will get to know more reliable mechanics around you and have people you can rely instead of relying on a machine that doesn't teach you anything about life. The more experienced you are the better the driver you are
CHEZ!!! The main reason I want to get into trucking. Glad that you are back. You were the first trucking vlog that I watched. I've followed your journey from Swift to your current situation. Glad you were able to get over the Gout attack. My father dealt with that for a long time. His foot would swell to the point that he couldn't put on a shoe. Definitely made me think twice about my eating habits. I'm in the process of getting in shape so that I can start my CDL journey. Be careful and watch out for the little critters out there. Keep vlogging..the good and bad times you go through...we are here for it all.
Hey Chez, Glad you are back and safe. I started watching your videos around late January, you inspired me to go into trucking. Watching these videos before I started the driving lessons helped a lot. It felt like I already had the experience. Please know that the fact that you go through the good, bad, ugly of trucking and still share these with your viewers is both educational and inspiring. Stay safe out there. Femi from Nigeria
Dang man, crazy to think I’ve been watching you nearly a year. You’re doing good. I got into prime’s training in august and have commented a few times, I rewatched all your videos while I was waiting for my trainer lol. Now I’m stuck in Nebraska with yet another major air leak and a Love’s shop that’s not willing to cooperate 😂 proud of you
Yaaaaayyyyy finally😌... I love your content and am so glad you're back! Much love man, I hope trucking starts going your way more too as you definitely deserve it❤️
Love the video Chez I think I saw you getting towed on i40 towards Cali that sucks man truck problems no fun. I actually drive for prime now went as a lease operator making good money I’m pretty happy the company is great new equipment and they treat us well. I hope to see you out there one day some where! Safe travels man! 🙏
Yo you should definitely post soon if it's possible... Just know though that as your loyal subscribers we ain't going anywhere, just always looking forward to your content is all😏. Don't sweat it if you cant post, we get you got things goin on. Much love man❤️
Remember watching your videos when you started with swift and I was trying to get inspiration to get my cdl now I'm 3 weeks with my mentor almost ready to get my own truck! Thanks for the inspiration 🙏 🙌
Bro you did not bore me with the Zack story, it's a cool story to write home and awesome to hear! Zack is amazing but you did what you could too to get back on the road on Sunday instead of Monday. Your boss should ask Zack as a new maintenance guy, and he should also be happy you're working for him!
You do realize you need 2 year or 3 before any insurance will cover you. That's why they love new driver you will own money if you don't last 2 year's. Better read fine print.
@@firstamendmenttshirt4768 not true at all. 12 months and you’re golden. You only need two years of you want to get into fuel tankers, and even some of those will hire you at 12 months.
@@aarons.7271 When's the last time you talked to the insurance companies. I would know you have to get 2 years under your belt unless you know someone.
@@firstamendmenttshirt4768 I don’t know where you live, or where you’re applying, but I just got hired on to a 6 figure position with a family company, and I have 13 months. I had multiple offers once I hit a year. You must not know how to look.
@@aarons.7271 I had 8 months an then a brand new truck. Then I went to tanker In under 2 years or less, but only because I knew someone. Most get stuck with a contract an you owe the company, that's what i am saying, because of insurance an no experience.
I had two different trailers catch fire a week ago on the same trip🤦♀️ (the brakes locked up and I didn't know until it was too late) We had to offload the full trailer onto another one by hand. I drive no problem all the way from Columbus Ohio to Detroit MI. I get unloaded and when I got to leave the truck starts acting funny again like the brakes are engaged but they wasn't. I looked at everything nothing was wrong, so I left. I get about 10 miles down the road and I pull over to check everything out, everything seems fine. I go about 5 more miles and obviously I'm watching, listening, and at this point smelling for problems. My abs light comes on so I pull over immediately, and bam wheel is glowing. I grab my second for extinguisher for the evening and yep there is flames when I get back there. I put it out, call dispatch let them know. It's a rental truck so I call Penske, it's gonna 2 hrs for service (of course) and they are marking it as a foreign trailer problem bc the trailer is ours but theirs. Well I eat screw it I'm going up to TA 3 miles away and I unhook my truck. I get to the exit and turn at the light, now the truck won't shift out of 4th gear. Now I told Penske and my dispatch that I believe it's the truck causing this problem bc come on how does this happen to two different trailers in one night? Well of course Penske won't take blame, but when I call and say their truck is broke down, miraculously the service truck appears in 20 minutes 🤷♀️ They clearly say that the transmission and air goes hand in hand but it wasn't the truck that caused the problem on our trailers..... 👍 Okay BS So now the truck has to be hooked and they gotta find me another truck to drive home. That takes another 4 hrs. So by the time I finally got home is been in the truck for 20 hrs. In a day cab for that matter. Thank God I was running paper that day.
I believe when I drove a Freightliner day cab at my LTL job and I had a fast click for my directional, it was a dead flasher bulb on the tractor. 🤷♂️ maybe
Chez I’ve been missing u like bro u one of the best trucker RU-vidrs and u should start doing RU-vid shorts and and live streams when ur on ur 30 and chez just keep it up stay safe and have fun also make sure u stay very consistent on here because u have a lot of pointal just gotta upload shorts or lives so we more content of u . And I say ur instagram how’s life are u still with ur girlfriend and do u have a new car and chez my birthday is coming up it’s April 7th bro and I miss u bro stay safe All love and u should really get into sports like basketball football u know talk more keep us entertained while u drive tell ur dreams
Should isolate the problem at the plug which connects to the trailer. If you have power on the circuit which is for brake lights at the plug. Then it is wiring on the trailer side and not tractor. Hope this helps.
Ayo, I scored a local Tanker job pulling 3 trips a week 34 home and making $1600 net a week or more. Glad too see you're doing good. Once I start the tanker job I'll start making more videos.
Bro come to swift , brand new trucks !! Also the pay is amazing !! You work 90 hours to get 1200 on you pay checks here And you get no one bothers you because they don’t give a shit. Amazing company bro you should come over to SWIFT
Hey Chez I just wanna say I appreciate what you're doing and the fact that you have a goal of becoming a pilot. Im a new fan 😊The fact that you stay focus on doing the best you can on a daily basis is an inspiration. I joke that you achieve your goals 👍🏾✌🏿🙏🏾
Change the air dryer filter every year!! Anytime you have problems with trailer lights? It's usually either your green cord or the actual socket on the trailer you plug into.
Drink lots of water for your gout to help keep your uric acid down tart cherry juice helps also. I've had gout for over 15 years at my point I've been put on allopurinol and haven't had a flair in 3 years
Enjoy Hawaii my guy. We just ended our Safe Travel program. No negative test/quarantining upon arrival. And finally ended the mask mandate for indoors. 🤙🏽
I used to love driving those wide open spaces out west. Good place to voice your mind to us old retired, peg legged Truckers. Dedicated, to me, was the best. I had Tallahassee/Orlando 5 days a week. One stop in Gainesville, spoiled rotten! Didn't care for OTR but did it. What does your company think about you talking to your audience & driving? Ha! Just kidding! Have you got a back up camera? I would've stopped earlier then walked it. I knew you had gone too far. I got into a jam like that in W. Virginia. Just subbed!
Hello CHEZ, How ur doing? Im new to ur ch & Trucking, I'm a 3rd shifter @ home alone, but nuff of that. I like ur content and I really enjoy ur company & conversation, I have lots of respect for you Truckers, if I can do anything to help a Trucker out, I will. im lm living in the NE pass Penn but B4 Mass lol, so just wanted to luk, you got another sub. @@chez8239 I appreciate it brother ! Good to see your back . You and I have the same problem lol 😂 consistency can be difficult but it’s definitely doable ! Let’s hold each other accountable for what it’s worth here on this RU-vid platform ! 👍😃 Be safe take care!
Hey chez I’m a fan I’m not hating but break downs are apart of the game it doesn’t mean it’s over lol but when I heard you saying mega carriers are the safe bet they are the worst I rather have to deal with couple break downs and get payed well but chez my advice to you is to take car of the truck do your pre trip check the fluids do all the little things will keep you away from lots of break downs my truck has almost 1.1 million miles on the engine never had a big break down yet because I check the fluids and do the checks up and keep up with my repairs but I love the vids and your very professional
All these truck stops are ridiculous when it comes to maintenance. They take forever man. Seriously guys build bigger shops and hire more people we don't have time to be waiting 6 hours every time. Glad to see you back Chez 😆 🤣
hey brotha still here and sorry if I been MIA but I’m really glad you stepping out and going to try it out !! good luck with everything and be safe out there !
From a guy that's never done anything meaningful with his life.. I can only make around 20-30k a year. I was going to school for my Class A but got hired at a local food service company that provides paid training for my cdl. I'm well aware how much I could make going regional or otr. However, it's still double what I ever would have made. I've got a wife and 4 kids so I get to be home 2-3 days a week, I'm home by dinner time and I'm still making more than I ever thought I could. Everybody's situation is a little different. The only difference between 70k and 100k is the way you spend it.
Missed you bro! Glad you’re back! Dude we’re so much alike with stuff man. Trucking is cool but I love flying man. I was gonna be a commercial airline pilot. I hope it all works out my man.
I get flying school ads all the time. I think many of us, who had a passion for flying , were too afraid of flying cause commercial planes are so big, but we gain a huge confidence boost after we learn how to control something as big as a truck and trailer.
I enjoy every single post, thank you for sharing your experiences. I'll be attending a trucking academy in June and should be done with training in July. I know that starting my new career in OTR I should avoid Swift. Remember that when you accidently hit an animal that it was either the animal or you.
I rebuild an international 10 speed Cat engine Rebuild the rears Chrome all around , 10 New tires Turbo /water bump / nex exhaust Sold it 50k 3 months ago , I told my friends to buy it it’s worth the money 💴 he went and bout 2015 international, he broke down every month and the guy who bought mine never in 3 months in the shop other than oil change ..
Hey dude hope all is well! Been watching your videos for a min now. Love the content! I had just got my permit today (them tests suck) and about to leave for truck driving school through roehl transport, if you had any advice for me that would be awesome! 🤟🏾
that is and still is a part of your pre trip each air tank has a Nosel you can turn to open them to drain or they have a line hooked up to your airline when you pull it that will also drain them read some books on basic stuff for your pre trip
haha I love your videos bro! I watch them all the way through even though theyre long lol.. you crack me up when you laugh hahah Glad you enjoy yourself while youre out there on the road! Keep it up and stay safe out there
I am looking to get my CDL A, I am in Florida. Trying to decide if I should go with a mega carrier like Prime Inc, or pay out of pocket for CDL. I have a spotless record, criminal and driving. I don't drink, don't smoke, no drugs, no wife or kids. I am definitely an introvert and I am a business owner, and business oriented. All my paperwork is set and I have my CDL permit from Florida. I am looking to sign the papers or pay the out of pocket fee by the end of May. I rather not eat the 6-8k school fee, but if it is a better route then so be it. I just know that mega carriers at least prime emphasis on longer training but also pay you less. I am not so worried about the pay, only want to get my 1 year experience in. I am not one to expect good pay for a beginner nor do I believe shit should be handed to you, but earned with time and skill. Any tips would be amazing, If you or any one in the comments has experience or opinions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and keep trucking!
Pay out of pocket for an unrestricted license, then apply at a mega and they’ll pay it off for you if you stay a year. You have to drive a year to get the good jobs anyway
Fast clicks means there's a problem with the wiring on that side and before you leap into pilot school research how much radiation pilots are exposed to being so high up in the atmosphere.
We’ve advanced in technology in so many areas, there are even self driving trucks, but trucks still utilize air brakes… There are so many accidents and fatalities that happened because of airbrake malfunctions, and you think they would mandate braking upgrades, disc brakes maybe?
@@chez8239 hey chez!!!I'm still sealed at home. Many people in Shanghai are starved to death and can't see a doctor. These videos are all available on Twitter. But I don't know if you can see it.I hope you can let more people know what happened in Shanghai after reading this information.I hope I can come to the free world in the near future and drive a truck or plane with you.
I'm making FAT money and I'm in brand new 2022 T & T. Even my new trailer had light problems because when I turned my green cord was putting to much pressure on the trailer socket and damaged the prong so I had to change the socket.
Yo Chez, where you at man??? Dang, it's been a whole MONTH already!! Over 21 thousand people waiting for you to post up some content. 😂🤣 I just sub'd last week and already watched all your video's. Lol Good stuff Chez but keep it coming. Hope all is well out there. Roll on Driver..... Roll on ! 🌭🍺
Chez we miss you man! I know life gets super busy and I can only imagine what it’s like being a RU-vidr and doing trucking, because sometimes I cant even turn on my PS5 after a long day driving, but we miss you man and hope you are well!
@40:01 I can say most big carriers don’t have good pay but I’m with prime inc the pay is good and the miles are great . Making over 1.4k a week or average 1.4k first 2 months new company driver no experience just saying just saying
My Guy chez whats gucci? Hey i finally got my cdl man and im otr with werner, my 2 months with them today man. I wanna thank you because of your videos i went otr! Hey did you ever make up your mind with the cars? Hope you go with the nissan! JDM for life hahaha! Anyways keep hauling ass man love the vids!
Yo Chez! Its called "uric" acid. Have your dr prescribe you something to help you break down uric acid normally. Most likely a med called allopurinol will work.
I'm studying automotive technology, so will get back to you on the fast clicks... Probably the people that made your trailer lights worse also replaced some blinker part with a different one accidentally. Maybe a car version of some electrical component, that maybe is meant for less voltage (still works with more luckily, just blinks much faster haha) Do the actual lights also blink super fast? that must be hilarious!
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r8aqEg2Rx1g.html Already found this, a good local mechanic could fix this in an hour or two. You'll be especially appreciated if you do the start diagnosis yourself (turning on blinkers and checking if every single one works)
I feel like you just started trucking. Can you make a vid explaining why you want out, the money, the companies, local long haul reasons, the pros, cons as a noob. May seem like a alot but trust this is content all newbs want to see. including myself. thanks, vance from hawai.
Hey chez are you alright man I’ve seen some post on ur Instagram saying you have passed away but it’s the same guy constantly repeating but I’ve noticed you haven’t responded to any comments for months and you normally do hope everything is well!
