Our awesome patient, Phillip, talks about his 15 year battle with crippling symptoms after a car accident left him with traumatic ligamentous neck instability, including excessive yawning, drop attacks, and so many more. We are so grateful to be a part of his medical team to help restore his health. We love seeing him smile and returning to his favorite activities!

I knew mine was neck instability due to 2 car accidents years ago. I have the same issues that slowly manifested all throughout the years. But I knew it came to its worst when I started to develop autoimmune like symptoms, tachycardia, brain fog, stomach issues, facial swelling and cranial pressure, blurry and double vision, numbness on my arm and hand and overall body pain and stiffness, confusion, emotional rollercoaster, etc. It’s just a lot of somatoemotional issues that I don’t understand why it’s happening. I started eliminating possibilities and then I narrowed it down to cervical instability or issue because i have constant neck and shoulder pain all day on my right side where i have whiplash from the car accidents.

Wow never attributed yawning to cervical instability! I yawn a lot. And sigh. People are always asking if I’m tired (which I am but in a body fatigue kind of way usually), and I’m usually like no, I just need to yawn. Interesting!!

Will prolotherapy work if I've had a four-level cervical fusion?

This is something Phillip would need to share, however on average our neck patients receive 7-9 treatments but everyone is different as their instability is different!
