I just love how EXTREME all the demon factions feel. They all have something just completely crazy and hyper focused on their theme tied into their mechanics that really changes how the game is played. So hype for the game to come out fully.

Honestly, feel like Khorne only did what he did to Skarbrand because it was Tzeentchian in nature, attacking a target unawares. All his servants are rather vocal and unchained in their intent for slaughter, you know that they're coming and can prepare or run. Instead, he took the path of a schemer rather than grabbing his axes, walking right up to Khorne, and getting beaten but at least some commendation for giving it a shot.

Skarbrand sounds *absolutely perfect* for RussianBadger in terms of both play-style & meme potential, I really hope he does a video on TW: WH3 in the coming year.

Won't lie, the idea of 40k being in a glass globe somewhere in the Fantasy setting is rather entertaining, more so than Fantasy being a random world in 40k... headcanon accepted. Anywho, Skarbrand seems like a nice, simple, fun campaign where you're ironically meant to just... rip and tear until it is done.

I remember my first sighting of Skarbrand was If The Emperor Had a Text to Speech Device. I remember kinda forgetting about him until he was shown again in their tabletop game episode, just literally deleting anything and everything that got into his melee range. "There's no way he's THAT op, those had to be some lucky rolls" ....oh i was so wrong until i looked up his tabletop rules. Skarbrand will, without question, without exception, without ANY HOPE, *Kill anything in the game in a melee fight with 2 swings.* No invuln, no Wounds, no save, no FNP's, NOTHING STOPS SKARBRAND. GW made Skarbrand a "timer" as he's the only bloodthirster that can't fly, you're opponent has until he reaches the other end of the table to either win the match or kill him, and if not? *The Khorne Army Wins*

If you hear sudden heavy metal blasting at you, if you see a literal mountain of anger, hate and rage plowing at you with the speed of a derailed freighttrain. Just when I thought that Taurox was stronk in Warhammer 2, Skarbrand shows up and showed everyone, including LegendOfTotalWar, that melee-only factions can be fun. If you haven't watched his livestream of the Skarbrand campaign, describing it as "amazing" is an understatement because I honestly didn't think that a Khorne faction would be fun to play.

Khorne wont forgive him not because he tried to attack him, but because he tried to get him with a backstab. If Skarbrand would've swung at Khorne's face, he would've been all good lol

This is one of the reasons I'm really *REALLY* looking forward to TWW3. I can't even begin to imagine what "A Noob's Guide to Build-a-Demon-Prince" is gonna look like, but I am eager to find out.

They really nailed the theme with Khorne. All of its tools and mechanics encourage you to be a merciless, relentless savage. Settlements are cheap and easy to spawn, so don't waste your valuable time colonizing ruins; just go make more ruins. No one can offer you anything better than their skulls, so don't bother with diplomacy. You replenish troops even while you're in foreign territory and your encamp stance doesn't have a movement penalty, so no need to sit in your territory to recuperate after taking a town. And you get huge movement bonuses for killing armies and taking settlements, so never stop pushing forward on the front line.

My understanding is that Skarbrand has choked up on the axes for when he gets even closer than melee range. Which is indeed possible.

I like to think that the units Skarbrand commands aren't actually his army. It's just his fan club following him around wherever he goes.
