I think it’s interesting how many of Slaanesh’s demons have occasional characteristics of crabs. Crabs are seen by some as the perfect end of evolution, as many other animal species slowly but slowly evolve features of crabs as they continue to “perfect” themselves. Pretty cool symbolism for the god of perfection.

Slaanesh is the only chaos god that would be lore accurate to ask “what would you do for a Klondike bar”

It's been a while and it's definitely an out of date save at this point, but in my last N'kari campaign, I'd gotten him the Sword of Khaine for obvious reasons. The end result was over 2k weapon strength that didn't give a damn about armor, 120 speed if I recall correctly, melee stats through the roof, and most importantly, through a combination of the fully charged Widowmaker and some really good magical items, 60% ward save on top of the innate physical resistance. No force on the map could put the breaks on that train.

I feel the one big mistake most people get when it comes to the whole "Huh, Slaanesh is cool... I'd woship them because sex is good..." is that BDSM is not depraved. Slaanesh is a god of depraved hedonism. Of literally doing the things you love so much, you start to gain no pleasure from it, so seek ever more elated versions of it. It might 'start' nice... But soon, the sex you enjoyed so much would start to seem dull and you would look for new ways to enhance it. It quickly turns into becoming the most depraved and heinous of acts you can possibly think of. Think of the entire prison population for sexual offences and they are (mostly...) the low-mid level degrees of the shit that Slaanesh would start to demand and their followers would blindly follow in the pursuit of pleasure. A huge portion of it would become stuff that the average person simply can't even comprehend. The Horus Heresy book Fulgrim shows the descent into complete depravity well. Though being space marines there's no real focus on sex, more the corruption of beauty and perfection. Including one scene where a painter starts to use the decaying corpse of a human he killed and stuffed into a barrel to 'ferment' to paint 'the most perfect thing he's ever painted'. Highly recommended read. So no... Slaanesh is not a 'cool' god to follow. If anything, Slaanesh is one of the worst chaos gods when it comes to morality.

So, if you want to progress yourself upward and get those promotions to the top. Well, got to scheme and plot to get there. Meanwhile, Slaanesh version of this question: "How many Bosses would you sleep with at one time to get that promotion? And then how long do you take in enjoying their pain and suffering if you are denied that promotion?" All because Slaanesh is all about the sensations of everything to the extreme.
