James Knight is back along with Jay Flaherty and Mark Welsh for a brief walkthrough of the beautiful Nordhavn 63 "Silver Spray", now offered for sale by Yacht Tech in Palm Beach Gardens Florida.
3 hour videos please. Love hearing about boats from someone with years of experience and passion. Thanks for the hours of entertainment and information.
James don’t ever think you long vids are boring, I have watched them 5 , 6 times maybe more, especially the ones on the 52 and the 63, and mate I am still not bored, keep up the good work, love them.
That boat looks immaculate and I would love to see one of your long format videos on it because of some of the unique features that were specified for that build or later added by the owner.
You have the best walk throughs. Some informative, and your knowledge speaking, spews out on your tours. Honesty and trustworthy traights are seldom seen, now a days. I see you as a respectable man.
Beautiful boat, love all the real woodwork, which seems to be missing on recent boats. The boat really looks a year old, not 15! I’m going to have to watch this again.
@@jayflaherty1892 Oh, that's very kind of you. I'm not yet in the market for such a capable, and leisurely, vessel. ;) Got >10 years until retirement. Mostly I was curious if we'll ever get one of James' outstanding explications of that boat. He has such an eye for detail, and from afar, the KK55E looks to be neigh-on perfect to me. I'd love to hear a professional's opinion.
Drove a 62' w/ the bustle back from FLIBS a number of years ago as a demo when thinking about buying one. Loved the boat but found it very difficult to hand steer in heavy slop with lots of hunting and decided that was no fun if the a/p went offline. Has the tracking improved on the 63'?
There's earthquakes swarms under the lakes in Iceland and your 63 with her softest helium 3 and 4 will coat the radiation in the earthquake swarming settling down the volcanos system. Thankyou James
I wouldn't be worried about what hull number it is simply by the fact that almost all Nordhavns are custom built. You'd be hard pressed to find two exact layouts. These ships don't come from assembly lines. They're built by true craftsmen.
i wonder if he got in trouble with nordhavn for these honest warts and all reviews? seems like not doing any more. half year since last. unfortunate cuz stunningly good
00:09 ''...long videos... boring..'' ?? NOT IN THE LEAST boring. Only 'boring' perhaps for someone at the financial level of a Martha Stewart, or Bill Gates who may have no time or interest in ANY of their Yacht's systems, how to recognize issues etc, and how to deal with them. For anyone else that is in the market for a Nordhavn, Selene, etc, I'd say these 'long' videos are well worth their weight in gold. There are thousands of walk through videos, very carefully scripted full of gorgeous adjectives, accolades and fluff, they have their place, but there are literally NO presenters other than James and crew, coming anywhere close to providing the level of useful, pertinent, important, and detailed information that is definitely ''need to know'' 'stuff' for most of the buying market.
I understand that you are very busy with various aspects of your business but I think it's unfortunate that you seem to be rushing through this vessel as if it's about to sink right at the dock. There's no reason for two people to overlook features that aren't in our view while directing us to look elsewhere for an example. Perhaps you'll consider doing your next video when you have more time. For now, I'll leave this one at the half-way mark. Thank you.
@@bubbleobill267 Sorry, I'm now committed to the research and development of a new line at La-Z-Boy. But at the price of 2 cents, my opinion seems to be quite fair.
LOL it is clear that you didin't want to do that pitch. Advice - if you can't be bothered then don't bother. It comes off so half hearted. Just skip this sales stuff if you don't care for it and stick to what you want to do. But it was funny to watch you struggle to look like you cared...
LOL Coleen it is clear you didn’t know how understated exceptional people can be when discussing things they are experts in. If you were expecting a used car salesman barking idiocy from a balloon-infested dealer lot you’re in the wrong place.
@@alanwechsler9850 ..look, when someone is obviously not interested in the "job" it is always best to decline it and move on to something else. This guy clearly did not want to be there and, in a real sense, he was not there. That's fine. Just don't waste your time when not actually into it. No problem. It's not for everyone.
This might well be the wrong channel for you sir ! It’s just tough for me to walk past things and not talk about them :-/ Sorry, there’s just so much to talk about on a Nordhavn. Here, I missed so much of the boat that I almost feel guilty. I could spend a day walking though this boat and still not cover all the important stuff. When I do a walkthrough with a new owner, it takes two days.
