Which, btw, does not make up for the totally bland interior design of a FIVE MILLION DOLLAR PLUS yacht. Where was Destry Darr Design? I know that the original owner was a former tugboat driver (and hats off to that profession) but _this_? What a snore, not to say a design disaster. An expensive industrial design failure. This boat is below par for even a Jello from-a- mold level. The wood is blah, there are no unique design features -- no mermaid carvings, custom coffee bar, feisty frosted glass, no gun locker, no Easter eggs, no kitchen turntables, no nice surprises, no anything. Might as well have built a toy tugboat capable of towing nothing. Five mullion plus dollars? Give me a break. What a major disappointment.
Just a stunner!! I love the double walkway. Would be must for me. These are such beautifully designed boats. Every single detail is well thought out. A perfect live aboard. Each one I have seen is as well laid out as the first I ever saw. The pride taken by the company also impresses me. They care about the reputation and performance in their products. Good people!!
New Subscriber! Great video! Curious if you possibly knew anyone, captain or other that knows all Nordhaven Yacht, epically the 68 inside out, and engine room . I may be running a 68 or larger in the next month or two and would love to get some help getting to know the vessel perfectly! Will gladly work out a pay schedule with someone, so if you know of anyone, please comment and let’s talk! Thank you!
Looks if I purchase that I'm going to have to retrofit it with AV equipment I didn't even notice doesn't have the domes on top or not it's not a deal killer if they didn't just means I would have to add them it's a nice boat can it be equipped with a crew? I'm only one person
Amazing ship, only one humble suggestion, o think this editing style is not the best for a boat tour. I loose sense of where I am I'd rather see handheld style non edited, to have a better sense of where things are. Cheers
What Happened to the original owner? I watched the acceptance/delivery video just after the Owner "who owned a tug boat company" received it! He was a SHARP COOKIE! He knew his boats! He spec'ed this boat out RIGHT! He knew the mechanical in's and out's like the back of his hand, especially after a entire career in Tugs! Could not imagine selling it so soon! I drooled over this beautiful and beautifully equipped Nordhavn! Just curious why it's being sold so soon? He was a large fellow, I hope he did not have health issues, I was extremely impressed by him! Anyway, this will make some VERY LUCKY individual a world class ride! I hate turning on RU-vid and seeing these incredible boats for sale knowing I could never in 10 life times ever afford one, heck, could not even afford to fill the tanks! Ha! doesn't hurt to dream though! My most perfect dream would be to get behind the wheel of an Nordhaven 63 aft pilot house and setting course for an around the world trip with my wonderful wife and daughter, she's from the Philippines, so we could stop in and pick up her brother and parents too! They can cook up some terrific Asian dishes and fresh fish! Does not hurt to dream, and any dream with a Nordhavn in it is a good dream! Ha! 😊⛴⚓👍🧜♀🤿🛳🚢⚓ Thanks for the detailed and fabulous walk through!
Great comment. I too am married to a Filipina. We are selling our house to buy a yacht and sail the Philippine Islands and Southeast Asia, using our family as crew. Like you, I cannot afford a Nordhavn, but clearly this is a beautiful yacht.
Since Nordhavns hold their value, owning one for a handful of years makes sense. Buy it. Do what you want to do. Then sell it and recoup most of your investment. Some people don't want to wait for a new boat to be built and will pay a premium for one that is ready now.
I was waiting for this tour. Thanks!!! I saw it listed but not enough pictures. I love this vessel. Garrett do you need a special license to pilot her? Jersey Lou
2019 that wasn't that long time ago and when you're talking about boats and yachts that yacht is still quite new what was the reason for the previous owner for selling up are they moving up to a larger one or they're downsizing or they just got too old to be able to travel the seas
Well whoever owned that boat before had something that was gasoline powered but was too stroke cuz I noticed a bottle of two-stroke oil next to the tinder get gasoline fill tank
You buy a Nordhavn you'd better have a captain's licence AND and naval engineering degree. You need to be very familiar with every thing in the engine room. There are no mechanics on the high seas and getting one for every repair will cost an absolute fortune. YT channel MV Freedom is a testament to that.
